membership problems

Hi all,
This post is directed to the administrators or anyone from this group who can help me out with my questions.
I just recently joined the Tickle theater forum and I specified in my options to allow others in this group to be able to view my email address. Yet if you try and email me, a message comes up saying this person doesn't allow you to email her.
I also tryed to send a private message to someone on the site and it restricts me from doing so.
Why am I having theses problems?

I think it's just the fact that you don't have enough posts yet. It will be allowed above ......... ten posts or so.

Wait until someone from the famous TT Crew come they explain very well 😀

Sorry I took so long to respond. I've been on, but Java went boom and I couldn't post.

Alf is correct, you will need ten posts for some of those functions to work. PMs require ten posts. As to the email...let me test your profile. *Tests* That didn't work...let me check your settings.....*Checks* Well, you are set to display your email...

Let me test in on myself....No go. I would guess that that function has been disabled.

That I cannot. TT is the only one who can answer that. I suggest posting your email in your profile somewhere, such as "Other Interests." That is what I did.

Hi, and welcome to the Theater 🙂 You need 10 posts to include any clickable links in your messages, including a clickable e-mail addy.

For anti-spam purposes, I recommend posting e-mail addys in a non-clickable format anyway, such as (username)-at-gmail.com. Spambots can crawl message boards and record clickable e-mail addresses, causing an inundation of your inbox.

You mean in a post? It may see it as a link and you can't post those until you have 10 posts or more.
