You may have seen this on your local channels. We (Long Island) were honoring our fallen today. I wandered into correct position by mistake, and was privileged to watch the caskets journey down our own "Canyon Of Heroes", which was formed by hundreds of firetrucks lining both sides of the highway, with their ladders extended and tilted towards the center....a large flag draped between each pair, and the glorious strains of music, which finished with The Battle Hymn Of The Republic, which has me crying like a child...again. Hopefully someone digitized it and it will be available on the net...if so, look for a Blue Chevy Van with red letters...thats the Qjakal workmobile. I was returning bunker gear to Bayport when I stumbled into this scene. On a darker note, one of our local community colleges had another fake bomb threat called in today at approximately the same time....sigh. Q
