I have been a writer of tickling stories, (and other sexual subjects). Over the years I have hooked up with interested parties who I THOUGHT were women on sites like this, Craigslist, etc, only to find out they were just pathetic lonely men. It is very disheartening because some are pretty good at faking it. The only reason I found out on some is the fact that I am a computer engineer and can find out anything about anybody using my mad skills.

So be careful. This fetish is hard enough to get most females to talk about and that is all I desire at times. I have a really wicked imagination and have been told my stories are very intricate and intense. Here is what I have started doing to weed there posers out:

  • Demand proof, such as a call from a payphone. This will keep the number untracable so anonymity is still intact
  • See if they have a webcam
  • Look for things a guy would say

I love to talk about tickling, bondage, role playing, life control, etc. I have a lot of real life experience and love to share them with females who are like me. Guys posing as girls really iritates me. 😛issed

Well being a female on these types of forums is no easy thing either. There are plenty of creeps out there. I am sorry you've had shitty experiences in the past. But the ratio of females to males on these forums are slim. But also asking for a webcam session or phone call when you barely know the person seems a bit extreme >_>....it would be just as easy to hear their voice over the mic on an instant messenger ^^ that way you know they are the real deal and it's not some lonely guy 😉.

What? Like?

Things like...

"Hey buddy! I got me a 36-pack of Bud Light and moved my 64" plasma TV out to the garage so I could sit in the back of my 4x4 Chevy Silverado HD dually with lift kit. Of course, it was in my sexy bikini tee hee."

Fish guy, the term that you're looking for is "trap". The best way to deal with traps is to have a life that doesn't revolve around the Internet. That way you won't need to worry if that cute 19-year-old college student who's feet are just SO soft and ticklish is for real, or a 45-year-old guy who's marriage is tanking because he spends all of his time holed up with a computer.

#1 tipoff of a trap. They try REALLY hard to make everybody like them. They'll go out of their way to be anything to anybody who they talk to.

#2 tipoff... pics? They can't be provided.

#3 tipoff, their life is either super perfect, or it's riddled with tragedy. The latter tactic is the terrible kind of trap.

Most traps are harmless. Sometimes they can become disruptive to the forum... as one or two did here last year... but usually they just don't matter.

It's a tale as old as time, really. I have... my own views on gender identity, as I like to bend mine quite a bit 😛

But I won't lie about it at least.

It is not unreasonable to ask for a phone call from someone, although I would say that if you're to that point then anonymity should probably be done with anyway; if they *67 you (private on Caller ID), then that's a red flag. Technology is so pervasive anymore, it's hard for people to make much of a good excuse not to connect in a very transparent way... I don't use it, but I have a webcam built into my laptop, and add-on ones are cheap.

So be firm; say "this is how I choose to connect", and if they make excuses, tough.

some of the clues to it being a guy posing as a girl aren't really fail-safe....i don't have any good pics of myself on my computer. the one's i do have don't do me justice so i don't like to show them around. and you might get a tomboy who DOES move a tv to the garage and have a 64-pack in a bikini lol. you just never know. i think a short chat on the phone is good if you're in doubt though. but just cuz they don't give pics or want to get on a webcam, you can't assume they're men.

She speaks truth.

There's also the high probability that someone will lack confidence in their appearance. They could look just fine, but feel that they are unattractive. They could be uncomfortable about weight, skin conditions, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.

Seriously, the best way to avoid the problem is to meet people in the real world and leave this internet malarky behind 😛

I"m a sittin here, chewin on some weed..scratchin at me balls..oops did i say that outloud? giggles..

i think of course you can tell by the way they post or talk..

oh! you can tell by the way i use my walk i woman's man, no time to talk

He... she? it? has a good point there.
Besides, with modern surgery - or good editing software for photos and voice calls - nothing sort of very close personal scrutiny will shed definitive light on the matter of gender.

...

I am guessing for some guys the cybering aspect of websurfing does bear some importance.
Me, I'm usually annoyed when somebody pops up in chat and asks me "ur a ler or a lee" out of the blue, without even freaking knowing me.

And it really irks me when I reply with "well, you've seen my pics, you should know..." and they just stand there, mouth agape, drooling on my carpet, like "duh!".

...

To be true, it DID bear a lot of importance to me too, since I met some of my fave drawing models online, all those ages ago...
We did share phone calls, eventually, and some I even met in the real.

At least for me, the bigger thrill was meeting like-minded individuals, gender being the least concern.
For some reasons, I happened to meet more girls than boys...
Maybe I used to have lady-like pastimes...

😀

it's like they think if you're a ler you must be a guy, and if you're a lee you must be a girl. silly people!

So we basically swapped one ASLing for yet another ASLing, under a different guise, and with even fewer options.

:rolleyes

This. I feel for any females who visit forums like these. They must be inundated with PMs and emails. I'm guilty myself of sending PMs, but I try not to be the typical pushy cyber stalker. LOL The internet makes it tough for genuine males and females to interact in a comfortable manner when discussing fetishes.

i, for one, don't get inundated with PMs...i get my fair share, and when i posted my thread i got a fair few, but it's not like i didn't want to be bombarded! i like corresponding with other people on here! if a girl doesn't want to get messages, she'll tell you...if not, carry on! lol

If you don't mind me minding your business, you are almost sounding like you are regretting not getting flooded with "unwanted" attention...

😉

...

You do tangentially raise an interesting point - striking a balance between not enough attention, and way too much of it.

...

And, related to the original post, the need some feel to pretend they are what they are not, so as to garner more or it.

...

not at all...i correspond with people, and it's perfect! 😉

Prepare the sandbags. :lol
I'm glad I don't get inundated with Private Messages. I have to disagree on one point, though: Most people here that don't wish to speak will just ignore you. That makes it rather difficult to find people who like to talk outside of the chatroom, since it seems to be largely dead now that school is back in session. It's as if every PM has the intention of cyber-tickling behind it. Who can I blame for that? All the men? :stickout

So why do they do it? Why would a man inpersonate a woman online- Just as a prank?

or they have identity issues, or they're desperate, or they like fucking with people's heads...the list is endless!
