Mermaidization: 2 girls bound in black latex

OK, I originally wasn't planning on posting this pic anywhere outside DA, since I thought there wouldn't be given much attention to it here on the tickling forums, as it contains no tickling (no visible tickling, anyway )
But I did get some nice responses after posting it at the TMF, so I'll just post it here as well so you guys can take look at it too. 🙂

Concerning the pic itself, perhaps a little explaination is in order:

Every now and then I come across illustrations of girls either trapped in some latex mermaid bondage suit, or that are somehow turned into a rubber mermaid.
While I don't consider myself a latex fetishist (or a mermaid fetishist for that matter) per se, I find this theme very intreaguing. And being a fan of restrictive bondage, I knew I just had to try one myself.

Probably my two favourite characters (of the ones that I created anyway) are Kitzalia and Maryke, so I really had to use them. A bit strange, maybe, since they both belong in the Middle Ages.
But then again, Kitzalia and her companion have been in cross-time and cross-space situations before, and we can just asume that they are been kidnapped by something like latex-loving extra-terrestrials or kinky travellers from the future.

Yeah, for those people that have no idea what we're talking about; Skull108 and I were talking in Dutch, which is our common language. I don't know wether the mods approve of long conversations in foreign languages, so I'll explain a bit...
Skull just kindly congratulated me on my drawing (in particular he mentioned the underwater effect). He also mentioned he himself is not really into the whole latex thing.

I would say I'm into it, just not to a level where I would indulge in it in reality... perhaps I would try it someday... I'm really not sure... The workings of a human mind are dark and mysterious... 😉

In anyway, painting latex in artwork has always been a fun and exiting thing to do, and I don't think someone can commit oneself to creating something that one doesn't like. 🙂

Kitz and Maryke make for swimmingly attractive water babies! No fish bowl will ever seem complete without one now! These ladies have been spun into wet-suits with a difference: the shimmering, sensual tautness of the material, its form-fitting contours (offering great views of the transfixed soles) streamline them into credibly aquatic nymphs, the illusion of frolicking freedom irresistible despite being patently untrue! The girls may have, in fact, never before been so helplessly confined... trapped not only in totally restrictive elastic but adrift in a deceptively hostile element. The azure softness of the engulfing liquid, its lazy play of bubbles, lulls one into false security... an illusion belied by the snaky twisting of life-supplying oxygen hoses. Well... the primary conduit clearly delivers air. What, then, do those secondary breast-lines transport? Alas, only these two charming fish-puppets... plus, their mysterious top-side string-puller... are ever likely to know for sure!
