A public place, such as a bar or coffee shop, so that other folk are around, for the safety of both parties.
This is assuming rapport and connection have been built up over, say, weeks or months online and conversation have included non kink stuff.
Boundaries would naturally be agreed as to what would happen at a session and where it would take place.
Limits, safe words, aftercare etc.
I put importance on snacks a play partner might like, so would also plan a supermarket trip too!
Providing the vibes are good, a second meeting can be arranged, with no pressure on either side, as there are variables, such as weather, travel cancellations, childcare, everyday life..
I've a coffee date today which I'm looking forward to, with a view to meeting for a play session, which will be fun, it's a neutral venue for both parties, my main concern is logistics, as we've had heavy snow in the UK and unlike the Nordic countries, even with a few flakes, the transport system goes to pieces!
I also try and attend munches, there are a few in the calendar, one in London, a northern one and a new one in the West Country, which gives you the opportunity to meet folk in a safe setting without any awkwardness or pressure.
