Michelle's feet

One girl I dated for a little while, Michelle, really did not like having her feet tickled. I tried everything that I could do to tickle her feet. She was about 5'10'', brown curley hair and wore about a size 9 shoe. As we dated I tried to playfully poke her from time to time in the sides and she didn't really ever tell me to stop. I think she liked the playfullness to some extent. But when we cuddled at her house on the couch, I would eventually go for her feet. She usually wore white ankle socks or no socks at all. As we cuddled I would lightly poke and tickle her from time to time, but when I went for her feet she really resisted. She was extremely ticklish and wouldn't allow me to tickle them. I tried sometimes to promise to only massage them, which she let me do, but I always snuck a few tickles in as I massaged. She jerked them back and wouldn't let me tickle anymore. Of all people, she is the one girl I would have loved to tie up and tickle her soles, but never got the chance.
Can anyone relate to a girl resisting tickling? Any thoughts on how I could have had a tickle session with her?

My friend Lauren was much the same way....she had the kind of feet you'd wanna spend the whole day tickling (if all you both HAD was time...LOL)...but she really couldn't take very much of it, so most of my attempts were only a few seconds long at best. She didn't mind me massaging them, and if she were in something of a blase mood, she could deal with a little extra tickling (for the laugh value)...but still limited.

It's sometimes tough to introduce tickling (even if it's just playful) to someone who just can't take very much of it and are steadfast in their stance....the WORST thing to do is push it...you might end up pushing HER away for good....
