I did. ...got a little paranoid. not about anyone online but about friends, co-workers, and/or family members seeing my picture. that's just me being a coward tho. I have really enjoyed seeing the faces behind the names of you braver folks. 🙂

Okay, Ayla...I regret but certainly understand your position. I've enjoyed chatting w/you and of course enjoyed looking at you, and I agree sometimes it's not the most comfortable thing having one's mugshot displayed for the world to see. Thx for the reply, I can stop scratching my head now!

Well, sweetie, if someone you know mentions that they saw your picture on here, I think they'd be MAJORLY busted as much as you!
Plus, I would personally pay a thousand dollars to watch one of your family members come up to you and say, "You know, honey, I was just "flipping" through the internet, and happened upon this website, and went into the forum area, and passed through all the discussions, images, and stories, and decided to look at the pictures of the members, and after about THREE HOURS of "browsing" the site, which I didn't realize was about TICKLING, for gosh sakes, I came across your picture. Did you put that there? Oh, dear, what were you doing there?"

Very good point Piper! I had my mug posted on my original site and just felt horrible about it! But I left it up figuring anyone who asked me would have to be into one of two things: tickling or wierd al! Either way I'd be comfortable with that!
Of course I don't have my picture up now though! LOL! I'm a chicken at heart!

a few thoughts that ran through my head:
what if I forget to clear my browser and that *&%#!%$ autocomplete on ie says ticklingforum while my son is looking for ticket master?
what if one of the two family members who know about this little obsession of mine decide to 'look into it' a little and find my pic and now knowing my screen name, read every word I have written?
and, last but not least... was the bus boy at the resaurant dropping everything and a nervous wreck when he cleared the table next to mine because it was his first day on the job? or because he recognized me? lol
I realize that the odds of any of these happening are slim... but it made me nervous.

Disabling AutoComplete
Hey Ayla,
Although AutoComplete is a nice feature, it's a luxury I have learned to do without since my home computer gets used a lot by other people to surf the Internet. Here's how you can turn AutoComplete totally off:
Go to the Tools menu, Select Internet Options, Then go to the Content tab. You should see a button for AutoComplete. Click this button and it will allow you to choose if and when to use the feature. After you've made your adjustments, click OK and then go to the Advanced tab. You should see a list of check box items. Scroll down about 1/3 of the way and make sure there is no check mark in either "Use inline AutoComplete for Web Addresses" or "Use inline AutoComplete in Windows Explorer".
This should take care of it.

I think you are 100% correct man. Think about it, nobody is going to find something like that in a place like this unless they no where to look, or tehey are where they need to be to see it. You can't just stumble upon this. If anything, it would give you an opportunity to get support from people like us that could be in your real life. I've never told anybody in my real life; ever, so maybe it wouldn't be so bad if they actually gave you another check in the tickle box! hehe
