Missing posts prior to 2006

Just wondering if we lost all posts prior to 2006 when the s/w switchover was done. I was looking for a post I made back around '03, but everthing prior to '06 seems to be gone.

I just realized that the search results only go back 500 posts.

But that brings up the question of how to go back to the first post if you have thousands? The advance search dosn't let you enter a start date and only allows a selection of "One year Ago" and back.

An interesting question. I do not think vBulletin has such an option in its search feature. You may be able to get around that, at least for some posts, by doing an advanced search where you put your username under "User Name:" and set it to display "Threads" and not "Posts". Set "Find Posts From" to be a year ago and older. As long as you've not replied to more than 500 threads you will see all the threads you have replied to. Granted you'll have to go through those threads to find your posts but that may work for you.
