Modeling vs "Adult" industry: where's the line?

I've been batting around the idea of trying my hand at the tickle video business for almost a year now. I've got girls willing to help with it and the startup cash for any filming and other equipment. One of the things that seems to keep holding me back, though, is a gut feeling that I would be doing something "wrong" or what have you.

Before anyone reads too much into that, let me point out that 1, I *am* a member of this site, and 2, I have a decent collection of clips and films and what not already. So I'm not trying to say that there's anything inherently wrong or *scary voice* EVIL *end scary voice* about tickling or movies or what not, haha. It's a personal hypocritical thing I have, I guess :/

Anyway, when I was thinking about this, I tried to figure out what "the line" is between tickling modeling (pictures or videoes), which are considered more on the adult/softcore porn side of things, versus traditional swimsuit or lingerie modeling.

Example - Sports Illustrated puts out a swimsuit issue with girls wearing nothing but body paint, it's okay. Playboy shows girls in sexy outfits, sometimes not even fully nude, it's not okay. Similar things go for the video side of this as well. So enter tickling stuff, where you can have almost fully clothed girls and light-to-no bondage going on. I feel that it gets pushed over to the "adult" side, but really, how much worse is it than the "okay" stuff?

I get that the answer is always going to be "it depends on the person/group/whatever," but I'm just looking for others' views and opinions on it. Okay, I've rambled enough; other peoples, please talk now! 🙂

For me the issue has nothing to do with what sorts of images are depicted or what's shown in the video. What makes something wrong to me is if it's hurting anyone. A hardcore porn producer could treat the actresses in his videos well and they could leave feeling fine about what they did. A photographer for Sports Illustrated could treat the models horribly and make them feel like crap. Which is "wrong"?

If you make videos and everyone is okay with what's going on, everyone leaves happy and satisfied, what's the problem?

I belive that the concept of right and wrong in this case is so subjective that if you are serious about this you should try and disregard it .If you cant youll either be hamstrung by it and get nowhere. or will end up producing the worst kind of films ie the frustratingly tentative tippy tappy stuff where the models tickle spots are treated like radio active porcupines. Yes you must treat the models with respect but it is in the nature of this fetish that you are inflicting something on them which others may find abusive. There is little point in being so kind to the models that you end up with something nobody wants to watch.

Primarily if you are thinking about going to start up a tickle video and modeling business you have to come to terms that it is an adult activity. If that much is not certain, then venturing into the business is not recommended.

I echo statements above in say if all participants along with yourself are in agreement. Then everything should be fine.

Once you've done your first few vids, you'll feel a lot better I suspect... 😀
