Overlooked by some, perhaps, but not by yours truly... This is one of my favorite techniques. Often, early in the tickle scene, I will put my lovely victim in a standing-X, and just sit there in front of her with a stiff feather, stroking and tickling her "meow" until she "purrs," so to speak....
