I read somewhere that this is actually a pilot trailer for a proposed CW series. Whether or not that's the case, that was a very cool video.

lol and I read it was a trailer for a movie. nonetheless I think even though the MK rights are in "limbo" (due to the previous filmmakers being bitches) they're trying their best to make this something more. Still... Needs more Raiden!!!

The 1st Mortal Kombat movie was THE BEST!

The 2nd suffered from lack luster directorship and hammy script writing!

This new movie has taken out all the supernatural stuff and replaced it with gritty crime/cop realism.

Which is pretty much a cop-out as far as I'm concerned.
