Movie question

[HOLLYWOOD]

the other day the hollywood brother was listening to a local radip program and the debate was about if godfather, carlito way, scarface, goodfella or pulp fiction is the best movie. the hollywood brother think it is goodfella or carilto but many people argue for scarace and some for the godfather. the hollywood brother wants to know what is your thoughts on this topic?

Goodfellas, definately. 🙂 My favourite gangster movie ever. Robert Deniro, Ray Liotta, Joe Pesci - all it needed was Al Pacino to be perfect.

as best movie of those, I'd call out "pulp fiction"
but
the award for the best gangster movie definitely goes to "good fellas"

Such a terrible choice to make! They're all great for their own reasons - Goodfellas is the perfect mafia movie, and Pulp Fiction is one of Tarantino's better movies.. (sorry, don't like Kill Bill.) :super_hap

I liked Goodfellas better than the Godfather I and II (GF3 does NOT exist!), but only because it was less sad. I think the GF 1 &2 really captured the reality and how not-fun it is better.

My dad rented a re-edit of GF 1 &2 years ago. It was edited into chronological order, starting with Vito as a child. All the flashbacks from 2 were at the beginning. That was awesome. Even had additional scenes.

But I prefer Goodfellas. I don't want to cry after that one.

Carlito's Way was one of my all-time favourites, with an honourable mention to Goodfellas. Al Pacino was also excellent in the underrated Sea of Love.

The best mafia movie has to be the Godfather. I mean the actual mafia started acting in that Sicilian genteel manner after they watched the movie.

However, no mafia movie list is not complete without Johnny Dangerously!

There are so many great quotes in that movie.

I dunno what it'd be overall. Maybe Band of Brothers, but I don't think that'd be fair.
