Yeah, I'm sure this has been addressed before, but I'm going to post it still.

You ever seen a movie so bad it's good? Or so good it's bad? A movie so unintentionally funny that you go all 'Mystery Science Theatre 3000' on it? These are among my favorites:

'The Last Dragon':
'Bruce LeRoy', the 'Shogun master', Prince's protege 'Vanity', 'The Glow', Eddie Arkanian and even an appearance by William H. Macy in a rainbow jacket (You can't make this stuff up.) One of the epic milestones in bad movies. If you don't laugh outloud 5-10 times, you may have no soul.

'The Warriors':
An epic battle of NY/NJ gangs featuring the 'Furies', 'Lezzies', 'Rogues', 'Riffs' and 'Orphans'... And 'The Wonder Wheel'... "Can you dig it?!"

And I dare you to name me one scene in cinematic history better than when the lead rogue puts bottles on his fingers and calls out 'Warriors... come out and play!' Yeah, you can't.

'Transformers: The Movie' (1986 cartoon)
Leonard Nimoy, Eric Idle, Robert Stack, Orson Welles, Judd Nelson and the late, great Chris Latta.

Bumblebee curses (Oh Sh*t!), Megatron blows off an autobots heat and rips Ultra Magnus in two, Optimus and Starscream die, Unicron... I could go on.

And let's not forget epic musical performances by 'Lion', 'Wierd' Al (dare to be stupid) and 'You've got the Touch'

Quite simply a masterpiece of unintentional comedy.

'Bloodsport':
Van Damne, his fat, long haired, bearded stupid best friend, the evil Korean guy, the 'Monkey guy', horrible sexual tension between Jean Claude and the reporter chick and an epic array of Van Damne kicks and elbows.

And who could forget the riveting scene where Van Damne finds the competition and the asian guy replies 'OK USA!'... Always leaves me wanting more!

How say you?

Devil's Advocate. It easily tops Scarface as Pacino's best terrible performance.

Cy/MiG....buddy....so many errors here.
Bumblebee never uttered a curse in the movie, Spike said "Oh shit" and Ultra Magnus exclaimed "Dammit".

While Megatron did indeed shoot Ironhide right in his friggin' face at point blank range, it was the Sweeps (under orders from Galvatron) who shot up Ultra Magnus, which caused him to blow up.

And I don't care what anyone says, Lions 80's rendition of the "Transformers Theme" was far superior to the limp-wristed version by Mute Mouth(?) that was on the soundtrack from the 2007 film! Far superior.

Sorry, I just wrote a blog about this movie on my myspace page within the last month, so its all fresh in my head. Being such a huge fan of Transformers while growing up, this movie was a big deal back in the day. I still love it. 🙂

Oh my God! I just watched it today! I agree, Pacino was over the top, but Connie Neilson sure was hot while she was nekkid!

BAPS with a relatively unknown Halle Berry! It's just awful, but me and my daughter watch it every time it comes on!

And you Devil's Advocate haters---I happened to like that movie! I thought Keanu Reeves' character was more over the top than Pacino. But to each his own I guess!:rotate:

I actually liked Pacino in The Devil's Advocate. It was Keanu who I hated, as usual. That dude has only ever been good as Ted way back in the day. That character was so dumb it fit his real life persona.

As for other movies, Planes on a Snake... I mean Snakes on a Plane was horrific. So much so that it actually had me laughing out loud more than once. Easily one of Sam Jackson's proudest moments. 😀

I was going off of memory, so let me apologize...:sowrong:

And to quote Jerry Orbach: 'When I'm wrong, I say I'm wrong'

(Bangs head against table.)

Alright. Better now. And as for The Transformers theme... it's SO 80's! I don't know if it's good or bad, but I like it. (Can we agree that 'Touch' was lame? I mean, Come on!:wow:)

Point being, I can't pin the movie down. It's either too bad to be good or too good to be bad. Either way I'll watch it once a year forever. :manicd:

Yes, "The Touch" is bad.

^ Al Pacino is the best as always and Devil's Advocate is just one of those expositions of his great monologues. No way 😛...Keanu Reeves is just incredible, especially with all the 'Matrix' films. C'mon, I don't like him as Ted, in fact I barely recognize him there. You have to be castigated bad for that! :whip: 😀 😀

Keanu has just always seemed so out of place to me. It's like when I watched him as Jonathan Harker in Bram Stoker's Dracula, one of my very favorite movies ever. I'm looking at the exceptional performances given by Oldman, Hopkins, Ryder and all... and then seeing Reeves with his questionable accent. Meh, different strokes, I guess. Please do not castigate. 😛

I remember when I saw Dracula at the show (did that make me sound old?) and the ENTIRE time Reeves was on screen, I kept waiting for him to break out with a "whoa" ala Ted. LOL!

I will say, Keanu did impress me in one very memorable scene from Dracula. That horrific part of the film where Dracula gives that baby to his harem to feed on. The look of disbelief on Keanu's face and the screaming reaction was spot on, I thought. Very creepy and memorable.

^ In that case, Gary Oldman will always be the man. So far he's one of my favorite actors of all time. Keanu is just a pure classical background in that movie.

A couple more that popped into my head (though not nearly as epic as the first 4 I mentioned):

Billy Madison:
Adam Sandler, Norm McDonald, Chris Farley, Bridgette Wilson... The Penguin.

'O Doyle Rules', the sloppy joe lady, 'everybody pees their pants', 'the puppy that lost it's way', the song and dance number, the academic decathlon...

Infantile childish humor? Yes. Hilarious? YES!

Death to Smoochy:

Robin Williams at his craziest as a defunct 'Rainbow Randolph'. Ed Norton as a giant pink rhino. Spinner the braindead boxer. And I will never not laugh when Norton pulls the 'rocket ship' out of the bag of cookies. Wheter it's good or bad, I don't know. But it's dark and funny.

Oldman is amazing. Such a chameloen, really. He rarely looks the same in back to back movies. He was seriously amazing in Dracula. So much so that I spent that entire movie wanting the "bad guy" to win.

Let's Scare Jessica to Death.

The Legend of Maggie Walsh.

Cheers. :wavingguy

The Toxic Avenger - what more can one say about a 98 pound weakling transformed into a mutated muscleman, and he's still wearing a tutu?

Return of Swamp Thing - Swamp Thing, "You don't understand, I'm a plant." Heather Locklear, "That's okay, I'm a vegetarian."

Batman & Robin - the movie with George Clooney and Ahnuld. Could they have trotted out any more corny lines for the Governator to spout? And the Bat American Express Card?

Highlander 2 - movie...sucks...so...bad...can't...stop...watching.

They're all terrible, but like a bad train wreck, you can't look away.

Ah the late 80's and early 90's... a triumph of terrible movies! It was probably all the cocaine...:idunno:

God, Blood Sport was the cheez.

Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes. 😀

I had no idea what to expect when I first saw that movie! Even now I can't make up my mind if its funny for purposely being cheesy or funny for failing at purposely being cheesy!

Any of you guys ever seen Komodo vs Cobra? It's one of those terrible Sci-Fi Channel movies that my friend found unclaimed at his work.

I love shitty movie night.
