I know I have already expressed some of what Iam about to say in my thread a few weeks back about my deceased pal Don Fraser. Today I remembered that I will soon be celebrating my 1st anniversary as a member of the TMF. Being a history major, Iam ashamed to admit, I do not recall the exact date I first joined the TMF chat. All I do recall is that it was sometime in mid to late August 2002, so I know it is a year Iam here at some point around this time frame.
The real point of my thread is, on my 1st anniversary, to again reiterate how fortunate Iam to be a member of the TMF. As I've expressed, the TMF has become a very significant part of my life. The mods and chatters have been a source of great comfort and understanding in this past year, through good times and bad in my own personal life. The TMF has been a source of great strength and understanding to me, during the last year with my ongoing business frustrations, and especially in the last few months with my mother's cancer scare, and my father's ongoing heart difficulties and now upcoming surgery. I want to thank all of the TMF'ers for being such good online friends, to especially express thanks to the chatters who I speak to regularly, and who know me the best on here. Last, but certainly not least, I want to thank the mods. Myriads, Mimi, 4 Pawz, Jeff, and all of the other mods and staff who donate their time to make the TMF a good place. Mr Myriads, if I may say, I know you how you justifiably criticize those posts that are flames and hurt others, and want as positive experience as possible for all members of the TMF. Well, sir, here is a thread dedicated to you, the mods, the chatters, and the TMF to say how much of a warm friendly and wonderful place the TMF is and has been for me. I proudly celebrate my 1st anniversary with the TMF, and I look forward to having the TMF and it's members as my online friendship group and home for a long time to come.
