My Favorites (Post yours, too!)

Hey, I saw someone else post their top 10 favorites. I didn't wanna jump on their thread, so I figured I'd start another one for everyone else to share some favorites. Here goes, in no particular order. Just some favorites.

1 - Nina and Isa, by the inestimable Cheshire Cat. I love the soles in this one, and moreso than any of his other work, the 'lee seems to be disliking it; this particularly attracts me because we know this character /likes/ being tickled. Maybe it wasn't the original intent, but I think she might dislike being tickled by someone who isn't her ladyfriend. Three and a half thumbs up.

2 - ZOMGPWNDSOLES. Shock did this masterpeice, and the thought of the torment that must be this poor girl's world...wow.

3 - From the infamous Dark Ritual series (Artist Unknown, I believe). Suffering, suffering, suffering...I love tauntingly inescapable devices.

4 - Synful Pride...all three of his lovely ladies, especially Alex, who is suffering as a result of her own devices (a favorite theme of mine). I can't get enough of this one.

5 - Hiro M. did this one. Oddly, it's not my usual style. I can't say why I like it so much; I only know that to look at it is to feel joy. There's something magnetic here.

6 - Everything that Scavenger has ever done has been top rate. I have a very hard time picking out the one I like best, but I think in the end this would have to be it. Details everwhere that matters, and the man has an affinity for cocooning that rivals even my own.

7 - I think I speak for a few people when I say Kalamos needs to stop playing himself down. This picture speaks to me. If I could only play in a campaign where this happens...D&D Player + Artist = teh pwn. (Not posted because I know Kalamos removes his artwork sometimes. Don't want to contradict him.)

8 - Arr...getting close to 10 and so many good choices left. Then again, I love virtually everything I ever save. Favorites, though, favorites...so, I make my next pick this peice by Slaanesh. Damn that's some fine torment, and a neat restraint, too. And you've gotta love that 'lee...

9 - Two to go...this peice by (I know him only by the name 'Smith', if he should be credited by some other name please tell me) rocks in ways I am loathe to describe. The text definately enhances things, too.

10 - What list would be complete without at least one work of the legendary (until as of recently unnamed) Kamikuzi? While every last one of his works is dear to me, his most commonly recurring 'lee (and surprisingly not, as I originally thought, the purple-haired girl) with a look on her face too good to ever be captured in a mere photograph.

Well, those are my "favorite" pictures...so many came very close, but I don't want to run on forever. Everyone who's ever drawn in this essoteric but amazingly great genre, congratulations for your work. Praise these paragons, but forget not yourself. Cheers to all!
