The inner tickle monster in Judy truly has been set free! Every time we've talked since the day we spent with her, she's brought up nails and whipped cream. Yikes! Sat. night should prove fun for the two of you. Of course, we'll be sure to continue the fun on Sunday when you get here, too! I'd be worried if I were you, Jen. lol There's a chance we may have a couple of others join us. I'll let you know when I know.

My very dear, VERY ticklish Jen,
I AM making the usual trip down to the NJ area this summer( probably in Aug or so) for 3 weeks to visit the parentals and to attend nationwide function in my Medieval heritage group( the SCA), so a meeting is definately in the thoughts. And those feet will be wishing they'd never met me!
I'd love to meet you, TTD, Judy, Ann & Drew,Oddjob, and al the other thi-state area tickling legends. To meet you all would be wonderful enough; to tickle/be tickled by you.. well that's something to bend the mind( and inspire tingling in the tootsies!😛 )
I'll defintately keep you updated on the plans;but a meeting is most assuredly probably

Hmmm come to think of it.. maybe while I'm doing the Medieval thing( I HOPE there'll be tickling @ this event ,please God!!😀 ) when I visit the states, I'll see about picking up a pair of stocks( don't know if any of you all have them or have access to them).... Oh what fun that will be , eh Jen? Then again, when my tender tootsies are locked tightly in there....

pedicure reaction
Please do not be mortified, folks who are "professional" pedicure people get your reaction daily. I even recall going to a nail place and hearing a woman tell the nail person (another woman), "look I am ticklish on my feet and until I get used to it -- I may laugh but it is nothing...." No one even turned their heads to observe, honestly!
Even when you work in other fields that involve "touching" or examining, anxious folks are often ticklish and when they are touched often laugh and are embarrassed -- professionals just let it pass or try and relax the client/consumer/patient. If you can relax, anticipate the touch, etc. the reaction should go away or you will desensitize with repeated exposure.
And look, what does the Professor know? You are ticklish, not a serial killer.
Let it go and be kind to yourself.

Celticrose, I built my own set of stocks. Do you want the design or some advice on building them? You never know, a close friend might turn out to be a dab hand with a saw and bracket! 😀 They're not like the ones you see at KJ or Marco's renfaires though. They're more like the ones in Magic Touch videos which are much better for indoor use, because of their size. If you're interested, then let me know.

So far, I have yet to run into the professor that watched me get tortured. Thank goodness. I only have 2 more days of classes, so I might get lucky. I am sure she will forget all about it during the break, unless I go for another pedicure at that same salon. I am thinking I should change location.
