my Mom’s transplant surgery was Monday

and 7 and 1/2 months after she told us that she had 6 months to live... it looks like it was a success.

in the most unselfish act of love I have ever seen... her husband was a living liver donor. they are both doing very well. they held hands from side by side gurneys before the surgery and the first thing they each asked when they opened their eyes was how the other was doing.

I’m sure most of you reading this are like, “huh?”, but I wanted to make sure that those who would have wanted to know... knew. 🙂

I told her husband that he was a hero and he just shook his head 'no'. I told him that he saved her life... and he said, "I hope so." it's really pretty beautiful stuff.

I am the one who came across your posting and immediately wanted to pray to the Father for a healing hand on each of your family members and the strength to make a full and speedy recovery. I knew we had a human side and your posting has sure brought that out into the light.
