Damn shame...

We will honor and remember him, and I hope the veterans groups and the government will take care of his young family...

"The Death of a Soldier"

How red the rose that is the soldier's wound,
The wounds of many soldiers, the wounds of all
The soldiers that have fallen, red in blood,
The soldier of time grown deathless in great size.

Not my verse, and I haven't the proper credit for the poem...if anyone knows, please email me and I'll add the authors name. Q

God bless him. He has made the noblest of sacrifices. So that people he does not know might live in freedom for the first time. So that people here might not ever have to feel like they did again on 9/11. I wish I could thank him in person. I wish I could find better words to express my sorrow.

I was listening to one of my CDs and this lyric kinda stuck out"

"Gun shots ringed out over the city
And had everybody duckin and runnin checkin for any
Kinda shelter cause them peoples man they at it again
If you aint heard or seen it then you better pretend
Aint got no time for stoppin aint no catchin your wind..."

Nelly, Nellyville, "Say Now"

I'm sorry to hear that.Could you give the family my condolences?

I am very sorry to hear of your loss.... of our loss for that matter.

Our nation is poorer for the loss of someone with enough conscience and courage to serve in our armed forces. In the end he gave his life so that others could enjoy the freedom so many take for granted. And to help protect us from future terrorist attacks.

"Greater love hath no man than this... that he lay down his life for his brother." May God have mercy on his soul. May God watch over his young bride and all of his family.

Thank you..

Everyone. I do appreciate it. It's somewhat tough when the kid who used to be the 6 year old you teased about kissing girls, grows up to be a sweet young man, then gets killed doing something he loved.

Krazy, it's cool. Consider it buried.
