Well. I called my school today and it appears that Pheaa has recinded (sp?) my loan. I called Pheaa before the semester was over and told them that I hadn't received any paperwork, and the operator told me she'd send me another set, which I never got. I called my school, and they said that they wanted full payment Any suggestions on how to go about asking my parents for $2000 some dollars? I dont even know why I called them, I had myself all talked into going back and now that I have called them, I'm back to not wanting to go back, again.

don't give up Lime, keep searching. Have you applied for student loans and or grants? Can your Mom repay the loan?🙁 I hope you can get things squared away, it's a shame you can't finish your education, how much longer do you have?

Hey Lime, how about this. You offer to submit yourself to bound tickling at any member's hands for thirty minutes. If you can go all 30-minutes, you win $30. If you call out the safeword before the 30-minutes is up, YOU OWE the tickler $1 per minute left on the clock.
:yowzer:

Sorry, I don't have any serious suggestions about getting the money. But I do seriously suggest that you don't drop out.

When I was in school (graduated 1983), I noticed a strong tendency for people to drop out during the last half of their Junior Year or the first part of the Senior Year. Most all of us were a little crispy about that time. A great number of our higher classes were either independent studies or seminars, so basically we were either teaching ourselves or other students. Kinda made me feel like I wasn't getting all that much professional instruction for my education dollar, if you see what I mean.

The thing is, the five guys from my peer group that dropped out never went back (to the best of my knowledge). Only me and two others from the group finished the whole course of studies. I guess we were kinda like boxers in the ring ... beat to a pulp but too ornery to quit. :whip:

Good luck with whatever you decide. BTW, getting my degree has prooved to be worth it in the long run. If nothing else, I have a sense of accomplishment I wouldn't have if I'd quit.

$30 an hour?

C'mon...let's all pitch in..lol. I'll go $100+ an hour for a worthy cause. As for the problem stated, there should be a specific office dedicated to this very subject on every college campus, Lime. Get inside and find the appropriate person. They will have a TON of info and know the sysytem and what is feasible. You'll save yourself a lot of time and perhaps wasted energy in this manner. Q

I don't intend on quitting, I want to transfer. I asked my mom to give me thee $ for it and she told me to be an adult and pay my own bills. I asked her if being an adult meant claiming myself as independent and using my tuition was my own deduction and she's been quiet since. I am a first year student. And Sole, all that will accomplish is that I'd owe each member $25 (or so) dollars!
