My very first art post!!!

I saw the request by Invader Gir and decided it was high time that i stopped living in fear of how bad my art is. I know that I'll never be as good as Snail Shell but I can still make contributions to the forum. I'm sorry that i couldn't put Veemon in the pic, but I'm not good enough to draw humanoid 'lers yet. I'll see what develops and continue to work on my drawing skills. I also think that I'm going to switch from markers to colored pencils since it looks much better with colored pencil.


In this picture you see that Davis has gotten tired of Kari always saying no when he asks her to go out with him so he hired some help.

While I'm a big fan of colored pencils, your use of inks gives this picture a distinctive painterly quality that's quite pleasing. I hope you continue to employ the one while experimenting with the other. This shiny, high-tech torture chamber has plenty of eye-cathcing detail (fuzzy monitor screen, barred door, form-fitting table with mechanical fingers), though good ol' basic tongue-work seems to be doing the most damage! A most promising start! Keep 'em comin', please!

Thanks for that dude. 🙂 To be totally honest, I don't think I'm much of an artist either. *braces for Karen's rant to the contrary* As long as you're happy with what you come up with and with what you post, you'll be happy. As long as you can see improvement from pic to pic, you're evolving as an artist. So, uh, yeah... That's all I got. 🙂
