My War on Fake Laughing in Videos

I just watched yet another, probably my 9000th, clip featuring fake and/or exaggerated laughter from models (okay, actresses) in a video. As if we can't tell the difference.... As if whenever we hear any kind of laughing, like the kind that might be performed in a high school drama class, we'll believe it's real.

The most obvious fakery is when the sound of the laughing takes on a regular rhythm. Genuine laughing in this context is jerky and unpredictable... it's a reaction to the touching, which isn't rhythmic. Fake laughing by its nature is not connected to the timing of the pokes and presses.

Try it yourself sometime... just fake laugh when no one's around. The sound you make probably approximates a set rhythm. That's the sound I hear in way too many videos.

PRODUCERS -- YOU ARE ALL ON NOTICE -- HERE IS YOUR NEW RULE:
It's much better to tell the model to try not to laugh, than to ask them (or allow them) to laugh more for the camera than they otherwise would.

If the underlying problem is she's not sufficiently ticklish, then you should be spending your time finding a different model, not producing a video with exaggerated reactions.

I for one understand your concern. however, laughter itself by its nature isn't approximated by pokes and pressures which are applied to the body. However, you are right in that it is not on a rhythmic pulse either. So yes, you are on notice producers of faux chatou; do not disappoint us any longer or your fans will distrust you.

Oh well, firsts videos or pix you see & with the ticklee just smiling = ticklish , yeah great. Then vid after vid, and when changing company you see that something's wrong. Or well acted, i can't quite make the difference in some few models. Now i've been warned.

by the way i found a really funny yahoo group, it shows with pix to prove which girls fakes & which one not. amazing stuff 🙂

I disagree with that at least in part, when somebody is really laughing hard there laughter can become rhythmic and repetitive, but I agree that when the laugh is monotonous and repetative it's a prime sign of fakery though.

I think laughter from being tickled can start out as jerky and stop/start but once the lee is broken and really lets loose the laughter can become almost song like in it's rhythm and melody. :evil:

and there are many other signs of fake. But as I said, unless people bring up some more sense for niveau, nothing will change.

I agree too. Ive seen some videos like this. One thing ive noticed quite a lot is the lack of movement from the lee's. Every single person ive tickled, whether they love it or hate it, squirms, kicks, wriggles, anything. But alot of video lees hardly move at all, they just produce this 'rhythm' laughter.
I know some people do actually try to keep still while being tickled, but these are usually ticklefetishist, the girls in the vids tend to be models just being paid to be tickled, therefore, if ticklish, should wriggle a bit more

I would tend to agree on that.
Part of the spirit of tickling is the struggle, between the tickler and the tickled.
Trying and holding it in makes for a subtler, sexier vid.

Sadly, I've seen users who are rather adamant about models having to laugh themselves hoarse for the vid to look appealing, and the tickling genuine.

Of course we could argue that different people react to tickling differently, and there is no such thing as the "right" laughter.
Of course it would also be pointless to mention that, since producers can't work for a niche market - within a niche fetish - so loud laughter is what we usually get.

Until we can track the noise-loving users down, that is...

Well, I admit to not being good at differentiating fake versus real laughing in those clips, but I don't like it when it's held in. My ex-gf held it in when I tried, and all it did was frustrate me, made me feel that I was doing it all wrong--truthfully I probably was doing it all wrong. But I enjoy instant laughter and giggling. It's just one of those instances where I'd rather have the instant gratification. Then again, I'm just used to getting the initial scream, followed by laughter, whenever I've tickled girls in the past.

Amen brother. I used to tickle my old high school girlfriend all the time. Sometimes she would laugh hysterically, and if she wasn't in the mood to be tickled she wouldn't laugh at all. But one thing remained constant, whenever I tickled her feet, she reacted. That's what tickling is. A reaction to nervous stimuli. When I watch clips of jack-offs "tickling" their models, and their feet remain motionless, but they are trying to laugh up a storm, it makes me sick. It's kind of insulting really. Producers figure that with a fetish as obscure as this one, that we pathetic saps will pay for anything. They're just taking advantage of us, and trying to make money for themselves. Maybe we need to critique videos a lot harder and start calling out the assclowns that are flooding the market with fake garbage. I would honestly rather see marginally attractive women that are TICKLISH being tickled, than a lot of these bimbos with perfect hair and silicone juggs. The concept seems simple to me, if you are going to produce a tickling video, use a subject that is ticklish. Is that so difficult? If someone is not ticklish, they should not be in a tickling video. See how that works? You can fake regular porn, but not this fetish. Someone should create a fake list somewhere, and we should start to weed out the posers. I apologize for rambling, but the fake crap does get annoying.

I guess this is the kind of subject where you can't just say everything you want and blame everyone unfairly but someone definitely had to start this thread. I'm really sick and tired of faked videos! The greater the laughter, the more terrible is the shock to realize it was all faked! Of course, what web pages say doesn't mean a shit... and the worst thing is, I don't think I'm good at telling whether it's genuine or faked ...or I'm not very confident when making my guess.

For instance, from classics: Can anyone clarify whether Renée from Tickling Paradise is/was ticklish or not? Was Nikki Nova's incredible laughter from fmc concepts' videos genuine? How genuine?

Real ticklish reactions sometimes do not make for a good vid.
Just like good tickling position make for a cramped scene.

A "good" tickling session would be a flurry of jerky movements, with people getting in the way of the camera, and focus shifting too fast for comfort.
Anybody caught in a tickle fight could relate: you would either need a spare set of arms, just to keep the camera steady AND do the tickling, or a whole camera crew, and post-production experts.
I guess that is why restraints are so popular... 😉

And of course, we should mention that the really ticklish people, fan-fictions are made of, seldom appear in fetish media, if at all.

On a different note, something I noticed is, vids are getting less and less "sexy".
On the other hand, subtle tickling has quietly creeped into traditional worshipping vids, making for a mixed genre overlapping two different fetishes.

I'm also against fake laughter. It is the genuineness and spontaneousness of the reactions to the tickling in the form of laughter that makes me like tickling in the first place. A real laughter tells me that the ticklee is in the mood to be teased and that willingness is what makes it all the more appealing.

In any case, a preview video is the way to go for me to discover the truth.

That said, it is indeed a niche market and I would think it's hard to find ladies that are attractive, ticklish, knows it, and are still willing to be tickled when bound for 5 minutes or so on a regular basis, even for money. The producers have to make do on the occasion I guess.

I agree with you 100%, brotherted. Besides a lack of foot tickling and attractive models, fake laughing is the main thing that pisses me off about some videos.

I don't know why some producers are not smart enough to realize that we tickling fans are not stupid, and we're not just going to accept ANYTHING they throw at us just cuz it's tickling. I'm VERY particular about the videos I download. The Lee has to look a certain way and be dressed a certain way. She cannot wear nylons, socks, or stockings. The tickler has to use his/her hands only. Last, but definitely not least, the Lee's bare feet has to be the main focus of the clip.

I have come across my fair share of tickling videos with fake laughter, and they were deleted more quickly than they were downloaded. I didn't even watch them to the half-way mark cuz they just weren't worth it.
