While on a routine "recruitment" mission for Magneto, Mystique stumbled upon a small handful of recluse mutant women that she took great interest in. Unfortunately, their interest in her came to be far greater. Mystique soon found herself to be quickly overwhelmed by the mutants... awakening in the most humbling of circumstances.

Without reason, the group began to attack her in the most peculiar of ways.
