Fellow member Piker originally reported the following information (let's just let him explain it, in his original words!):
"For anyone who lives in or around the Tampa/St.Pete area Nancy Alexander, who hosts a morning radio show (100.7) and covers fluff news on Fox, mentioned on her Monday morning sow that she recieved an e-mail from a fan asking about her ticklishness. She then goes on to say that she hates to be tickled, because she is very ticklish and that her most ticklish spots are her belly, feet and armpits. Unfortunately, I forgot her exact quote...it's hard to jot something down while driving to work, but I still managed to remember the meat and potatoes of what was said."
Thank you, Piker!
Because she's basically a radio chick, there's not alot of pics of her available, but here's what I could dig up. The first pic is from early in her career, she's the girl on the right.
Here's her bio:
Nancy began her climb to the top of Tampa Bay’s media personality ladder as “Nancy in the Sky,” a traffic reporter for Q105 WRBQ in the 1980’s. She later left for a short while to work in Houston but returned and took a job at 100.7 WUSA-FM as a member of the "Bob & Judd" morning show team.
In 1995 local Fox TV affiliate WTVT knocked on Nancy’s door with an offer of a part-time job as an entertainment reporter and she took it. A year later she left radio to devote all of her energies to her TV work and developed a reputation for outrageous stories on a segment called “Out There” on the station’s 10 p.m. newscast. She was also featured in brief on-air announcements that promoted the station’s daytime and primetime programming.
Nancy returned to radio in 1999, replacing Mason Dixon on WMTX. In 2000 she gained national attention when she auditioned to replace Kathie Lee Gifford as co-host of the daytime TV show “Live with Regis.” Unfortunately, the nod went to “All My Children” alumnus, Kelly Ripa.
Then, after nearly eight years, Nancy announced in 2004 she was quitting her TV job, saying she wanted to cut the stress that goes with maintaining two jobs and needed to spend more time with her family. Today (2007) she continues her work on WMTX-FM 100.7, co-hosting the morning show with Jeff Moore.
Coochie coo, Nancy!
