Need feedback on my music...

It seems to have gone down pretty well with my friends, so I wanted to give a bigger audience the chance to listen to some stuff I recorded.

The sound quality sucks, but it's the best I can do outside of the studio. I'm going to get in touch with da band soon and try to convert some stuff to MP3. But until then, this is yer lot. 😀

There are two songs at the link, one being Staind's 'Excess Baggage' (no dirty jokes please hehe) and the other being a song I wrote before Christmas called 'Hide'. I could really use feedback, so pwease give it a listen and tell me what you think. Thanks for reading.🙂

Not bad, it shows promise. I'd love to hear it when you get the rest of the band together. I like the keyboard intro, and it's got a lot of emotion. I don't really listen to lyrics so I can't help you there, I listen more to how the singer sings a song, not what they say.

My only problem with it (and you'll probably fix this when you get the rest of the band together) is that it seems like it should build to something, but then is doesn't. I think you should play the full chords during the choruses and the bridge instead of the arppegios. This will help give the song the dynamics it needs.

Also, it seems a bit too long, but that can be help by adding the dynamics. If the song changes, it won't seem so monotonous.

All-in-all though, it's a good song, and should improve with more instruments.
