Need guidance from the experienced ones, problems with chat mode

I am inexperienced in the chatroom but always try to get involved with the conversation. I don't really like cyber tickles or sex, so with that said, here is my problem. I have been invited in PC a few times, only to be mislead. The latest problem was a "woman, 31, from europe". During the conversation I had a strong feeling that this might be a young boy from the mispelling, wrong use of words, but then again I figured maybe she was not very good at english. As we progressed she(it, he) ended it abruptly with a snide remark as I got the message "user no longer available." Beside the rudeness which is no big deal, I would like to know if anybody has any suggestions on how to weed out the deceivers. I will chat with any majority age male or female as long as the conversation is reasonable and polite. If anybody can email me as to suggestions it will be greatly appreciated. I am travelling for a few days and hopefully when I return Monday my inbox will be full of good tips. Thanks for your help. [email protected]

My rule of thumb is as follows:

If they won't talk in the main room, they probably don't have anything worthwhile to say in Private Chat either. I've only ever had 3 people PC me out of nowhere, and they all turned out to be freakjobs. Like in real life, I wouldn't trust anybody who sneaks up behind me and whispers in my ear without having introduced themselves first.

Also, if they won't talk about anything other than sexual matters, you've probably got a Beavis at the other end of the line. We're in the TMF Chatroom, we all know how much we enjoy it. There's no need to persuade us any further. In all the time I've been going to the chatroom, I don't think I've mentioned tickling more than a half-dozen times. That common interest is a given, the interesting bit is to progress beyond that.
