Need Help With Second Voltron Story *UPDATE: EPISODE ADDED AS EXAMPLE*

For those who enjoyed my Voltron story and wish to see one based on the rare "vehicle" series, i need serious help with a major plotpoint: WHY the 3 female members of the team should be tickled.

In a nutshell, the vehcile Voltron series was about a team of explorers searching for new worlds for the people of their overcrowded worlds to inhabit. At the same time, the evil Drule Empire is also searching for new worlds, and often fights the good guys over possible finds. This is usually when Voltron is deployed.

Now, what i want to have happened is to have the 3 female members of this particular Voltron Force to be captured by a female Drule captain and tickled. My only problem is WHY.

If for interrogation, interrogation for WHAT? The Drules never seemed to want to capture or sabotage Voltron. I can't have the Drules asking "what is your mission here?", because each side knows perfectly well what the other side's mission is. I'm THINKING of having each girl know a password to sumthing, question is, WHAT.

Another possibility is simply torture. But should they be tortured just to be tortured? Should they be tortured as a way to get the rest of the team to surrender? Should their torture be shown to the rest of the team? Etc etc.

When voting, PLEASE post any ideas you have for the option you voted for, and i'll be sure to read each idea.

hmmmm, i think you should go with the torture and have the other members be shown little short clips but not enough to disclose the captives location. all for the reason of getting the voltron team to give up voltron. something like that would be cool cuz not only are you torturing the captives, when you show the rest of the team the clips you're torturing them as well, only in a different fashion. what about that?

it's not bad. definately a possibility. tho i was HOPING to give each girl their strengths and weaknesses in an interrogation story. with Ginger, she'd start laughing and begging from the start. with Cinda, she'd hold out a while on her feet, but then she starts getting tickled all over, which breaks her. and with Lisa, she holds out well at first, then starts giggling, then starts laughing, then starts begging and gives in.

why couldn't you still do that? there really isn't much difference between torture and interrogation anyway.

there's a huge difference. interrogation is the attempt to get answers from sumone. torture is simply to make one suffer

but you torture someone while interrorgating them to get information. tortue can stand by itself as just something to do to someone for your pleasure. interrorgation you need to do something to the victim to get them to talk....in comes torture. see what i mean? i guess i'm saying be bold, use both.

yes, torture can be used to get answers. that's the whole point of tickling interrogations. but when i ask for the options "interrogation" or "torture", "torture", in this case, means "cause suffering, no questions asked". like they did to Han Solo in Empire Strikes Back.

so now that we've cleared that up, interrogation or torture? and why?

well it sounds to me like you have an ideal already and very distinct ideas of torture and interrogation. and i've already told you my opinion for the story. wether you use torture or interrogation i'm sure it will come out just as great as the last one did. don't put so much stock on other's opinions.
