I actually sympathize with Maniac Tickler's point of view here. It's not a matter of being ashamed, it's a matter of being realistic about the fact that a lot of people out there don't understand us, and it's also a matter of wanting to keep relations with the neighbor separate from other parts of his life. I'm curious about a few things, though. Is this dating site a small enough community that she's likely to find your profile? Is your real name on it? Can you change your name on there, and have the new name retroactively apply to those old posts? The truth is, she really doesn't need to know that you like to tickle and spank women, and she might well be the first to agree that she's better off not knowing. You have a rapport with her that's just not about knowing each other's personal details.
