Its that time of year, getting closer. Where our thoughts turn to NEST, friends and all the memories we will make.
The last 2 years we have had a great event that many, many people have enjoyed...and that is our Dinner and Talent Show.
The dinner is a chance to dress up a bit, and enjoy a great meal with many people and get to know them in a different setting. The dinner is fantastic with options such as beef, chicken or a veggie plate for those that choose. The staff treats us very well and the dining area is very elegant.
Last year many people enjoyed being able to sit with friends and make new ones at the tables around them. Different than having to drive out and find somewhere or making plans to meet. You simply dress and go to the dining area in the hotel made specially for us and enjoy.
After the dinner I have the honor and privilege of MCing a wonderful talent show, with people far more talented than I. We have been treated to wonderful singing, great comedy routines not heard anywhere else. The Director did just a thing, I was really taken back by his unique style and to this day still laugh recalling his routine. and people that can play an instrument with great ability! It is so fun just being able to see the things our friends can do...last year we even had a spot on Carlton from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air impersonation provided by tjack. A highlight indeed.
So be sure to mark the box for Dinner and Talent Show when making your NEST registration, and if you forgot or after registering decide to do so, you STILL CAN BE THERE!!
