:bubbleheart:My Nest 2011 Experience :bubbleheart:

It is hard to try and write this because I feel like I have so much to say and I don’t even know where to begin to express it.

I am sitting on the train I took from Philly back down past the Mason-Dixon line 😉 and am contemplating back on one of the best weekends of my life.

Life is full of experiences, both beautiful and ugly. NEST was definitely a beautiful and life changing experience for me.

My life has been full of wonderful moments and memories, like the birth of my niece, my first trip to Paris, my grandparent’s 50th wedding anniversary in 2003, but all these memories trigger different aspects of my life.

Everything to do with my family and travels (abroad) are very open to my family and friends.

However, NEST for me is a very personal trip for myself because I am able to connect with people who share the same unique interests.

I am not ashamed of my tickle fetish, but I definitely keep it hidden during my everyday life because I have never been an open book, am from an extremely conservative place, and I just feel it is no one in my real life’s damn business about something that is so very personal and intimate to myself.

I was extremely looking forward to this NEST because it was going to be a completely different experience than NEST 2010.I went into NEST 2010; clinging to the few people I was familiar with and not really mingling very much with the larger group. I was just nervous and overwhelmed because it was my first fetish event EVER….and a convention as large as NEST is a bit extreme to take on all at once. But I just usually do that with life, bite the bullet, take on whatever I want to experience, and just deal with it without ever regretting it or looking back with disdain.

The anticipation for NEST for me began around Christmas time because I was like “Ok…after the holidays are over…there is nothing else really ex citing for me to look forward to until NEST in April.”

I don’t know about you guys, but I think that the months of February and March are the longest and most dreary months of the year.

It is the dead of winter, grey, and miserable outside all the time, at least where I am located, and I really yearn for warmer weather and the spring time 🙂

Once I found out the official NEST dates back in February I immediately ordered my train tickets and felt like a kid on Christmas when they arrived because I felt like these tickets made NEST more REAL.. I mean I HAD the tickets, they would take me to Philly, and NEST was going to happen once I got there.

The excitement for NEST continued to build over the next few months. March dragged on but school kept me occupied and finally once April hit I was more than ready to get the ball rolling.

I celebrated my birthday and my sister’s birthday the first week of April. I was busy finishing up last minute projects and papers for my semester. I was grading papers, tests, and so forth for my students.

So the time flew bye.

Then the unfortunate news with my sister in the midst of all this busy stuff completely caught me and my family off guard. It was very hard for me, but I definitely feel I have matured emotionally because of it. I accepted it and moved past it. I just realized I can only deal with it, support her, and not dwell on it.

The support I found on the TMF after I posted the blog on my family’s crisis was wonderful, heartfelt, and warm.

Those feelings magnified about a gazillion fold once I arrived in Philly.

After baking several dozen cookies, packing my stuff, I was ready to go by Wednesday night of last week.

My train departed at 8:50 AM on Thursday morning. I barely slept 3 hours the night before due to excitement, nerves, and anticipation.

Last Thursday as many know was a horrible day of lightning, thunderstorms, tornado watches, etc. on the east coast.

I was terrified to drive down the highway in such horrible weather conditions but I was determined to get to the train station.

After driving at half of the recommended speed limit, a one hour trip to the train station took about 2 hours. But I made it and was so excited once I was there, my car was parked, and I had my luggage in hand.

The entire train ride up went very quickly and once I arrived in Philly around 2:00 PM, Skulls was kind enough to come and pick me up 🙂

Upon arrival at the hotel some of the very first people that I saw included RobAce, Kered, and all the cool peeps who hung out by the benches outside 😉

I was not as intimidated as last year…but I had no one’s hand guiding me along like I did last year, so I just kind of had to put myself out there.
I am glad I have good social skills, despite being a bit shy and quiet at first.

Several people actually remarked over the weekend about how polite I was because of my so called “southern” social skills…which left me confused, because I just like to treat people how I want to be treated, with kindness and no drama.

This post was not intended to be the next great American novel…so I will skip discussing all of the different activities and such that I participated in at NEST, such as the classes, going to a big ass buffet, etc. If you want to ask me about that, just shoot me a PM 🙂

What I REALLY want to do is discuss the fabulous people I had the joyous pleasure of meeting these past few days.

First of all, EVERYONE at NEST is so welcoming, warm, and kind..and that is truly not an exaggeration.

The event is filled with great people to meet and the also the ever watchful and fabulous DM’s who watch over everything from afar 😉 and make people feel safe, secure, and completely comfortable at a fetish gathering.

To start my list I firstly want to say THANK YOU everyone who was involved with the NEST gathering, from LeeAllure down to the dealers at the tables on casino night 🙂

Now to begin my actual list:

LeeAllure and Mondy: You were both very kind to answer all my pre-NEST questions via email, PM, and instant messenger. You were very welcoming at NEST and put together a hell of an event. So definite kudos to you for another fantastic NEST.

Rhino and Kassi: You both were such an adorable couple! I didn’t get to talk to Rhino much, but he was very sweet when we went to eat at the buffet and in the car ride through Amish country 😛. Kassi was a complete doll! She was S-O sweet and kind! She was one of the nicest and warmest people I met at NEST. She accepted me immediately 🙂 and was a good friend all weekend (except when she lost my lucky hair scrunchee 😛 )

Fireguardian: Words can’t even begin to describe how fabulous this girl is. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, I was given a big hug and a kind smile. She was S-O wonderful to drive me around Philly to various places to eat. She is one of the coolest and most gracious people I’ve ever met. She gave me a ride back to the train station and stayed with me until I was on my train back home. I hated having to say goodbye at the train station sweetie, but I definitely hope we see each other again at Bella’s in November! I would really like to get to know you better 🙂

Filthyweasel: Despite the incredibly dirty screen-name 😉, he is one of the sweetest guys you’ll ever meet. Despite being taller than a mountain, he squeezed into the middle of Fireguardian’s back seat on all the rides to go get food 🙂 and never complained. Of course his Scottish accent made all the girls blush, and we ALMOST got him to read us some Shakespeare before someone broke the news that Bin Laden had been killed and it diverted our attention (dammit!) He was always there with a smile, and was very easy to talk to, and a get a reaction out of with a poke 😉. Filthy, thanks for continuously putting up with my dorky requests for you to say certain words for me with your Scottish accent like “Harry Potter” and “mountain.” <3

TEX: Well….I know you said you aren’t a fan of being known as Tex…but I didn’t want to put Papa Bear, haha! You were a super studly and sweet pirate all weekend! You gave me a big hug and made me feel completely at home immediately upon arrival at NEST! The pizza party on Sunday shows just how kind and selfless you really are! You are one of the sweetest men I have ever met and I know you had a great time! I cannot WAIT to see you next year! I will never forget your Black Swan moment at the pool when you did a full spin on the slippery tiles around the pool reaching for the beach ball 🙂.

SapphireRose and her boyfriend: You both were very fun to get to know, especially during our conversations in the pool and hot tub 🙂 That was great! Despite the 4 person maximum in the hot tub we squeezed in 12! Hell yeah 🙂 You were both even greater to get to know when you came with Fireguardian and I to downtown Philly to the train station. You are an adorable couple and very sweet. I can’t wait to get to know you both better!

P_bustleton: Obviously I knew I’d have a blast once we reunited at NEST again this year, after becoming buddies last year. It was great to catch up and spend some fun (and tickly 😉 ) time together! You are absolutely amazing and I can’t wait to see you again! You are definitely a student by day, an evil ‘ler by night 😀! I had a blast with you at the party on Sunday.

Avenger314: I am so glad that we got to spend time together at NEST, especially after talking so often as we do. From the very beginning at lunch on Friday and throughout the entire weekend I had a blast. Pool time was awesome as always! The tickle time was also a blast as well, you certainly are an evil ‘ler! I am glad we got to spend more time together this year getting to know each other! You are very sweet and kind and I can’t wait to see you again!

Falcon: You are a dear as always! Rooming with you was wonderful! I am glad you were the first to ‘ler me in over a year 😉. You are one of the kindest people I’ve ever met!

Smileorwink: You were fantastic to get to know! A very sweet and sincere person who did NOT snore too loudly for me to sleep 😛

BellaRisa: It was great to get to talk to you more over the weekend! Especially at Nifty Fifties 🙂 You were amazing as a kidnapper 😉 and my session with you and Bruce was amazing!

NaturalTickler: You were fun to tease but it came back to bite me in the bud about 1000 x…but it’s okay, you are an ok ‘ler and spanker I guess 😉 Hope to see you at Bella’s!

Byron: You were a total sweetheart and a fantastic ‘ler!!! Hope to see you again soon 🙂

Judy: A real sweetie that I wish I could have talked to more over the weekend 🙂

BrucetheShark: It was an honor to meet you good sir and I am glad I was able to have my first ever spanking session with you! It was a blast and I hope to have more future spanks to look forward too, dammit! 😉

Mark and Katrina: Fun to spend time with in the pool, playing with the beach balls! You two are adorable, hope to see you at future events 🙂

Ted: You better watch out for me over your shoulder at all future events because your sonicare is MINE! 😀

Morgan: Good to get to know you better this weekend! Wish we could have talked more! It was fun eating together at that giant buffet 🙂

Jay: You seem like a really sweet guy! Wish we could have talked more! Glad you found use for my cookies 😉

Mel: You were really great to talk to! A very funny and bubbly person! Hope to see you at future events!

Lyz: You are hilarious and always have a smile on your face! Hope we get to talk more at future events and hang out!

BlackestLily: You are a wonderful person and always have a smile on your face as well 🙂 Hope we get to hang out more in the future!!

Gin: Hey name twinsy!!! It was GREAT catching up with you this year! You were super sweet the whole weekend and I hope to see you again soon!

Jess: You were a really sweet girl and it was nice talking to you 🙂 Hope to see you again!

Alchemy: It was great talking to you on Sunday night! You are a really down to earth, cool guy 🙂 hope to see you next year!

Shira and Tamara: A wonderful couple, you were adorable together, and Shira’s class was a delight! Hope to see you next year!!

Dan: You call yourself a ‘ler?? Pft! You were SO sweet and adorkable!!! I hope we can talk more and see each other again at NEST next year!!

Andy: You were a great kidnapper and definitely caught me by surprise on Sunday! I didn’t recognize you with your new threads on though 😉

Jon and Vahni: A brilliant couple whose class I always enjoy! It was great to talk to you more this year. I enjoyed your bondage class and watching you during the Harry Potter kidnapping 🙂

Snailshell Josh: A total sweetheart! You and Maggie are adorable together!!! Thanks for the footrub on Sunday, it was great! Hope to see you at NEST 2012!!!

Maggie: You definitely stuck out with your gorgeous red locks! You are a wonderful person and I wish we could have talked more!!! Hope to see you soon!

Skulls: You were kind enough to pick me up at the train station! You are a total dear! I hope you enjoy your gift from Nifty Fifties for years to come! Your chocolate was top notch as well!!

Lamashtu: You seem like a super cool gal! I loved watching you wrestle Natural! You should’ve won 😉 Hope to talk to you more in the future!

TEAM Canada: You guys all ROCK! Your jerseys were just awesome and I am glad you had a safe trip to Philly, despite the obnoxious peeps at the border!!!

Impaler: You were always fun to poke in the side and made me feel like a ‘ler because it was fun to watch you squirm 😉

Pokey: A total sweetheart! Always a joy to receive a hug from and to catch up with!

Kered: A total gentleman! Glad to catch up with you! You (once again) were one of the first people I saw at NEST this year!

Stormy: Glad I got to meet you! You were an AWESOME newbie! Hope to see you again next year sweetie!

Porcelaindoll: We didn’t get to talk much, but you and Stormy are adorable! Your kidnapping was epic! Great way to represent VA 😉

Rui: A sweetheart! I am glad we got to catch up!! Hope to see you again soon!

Hardy: You were an awesome newbie. I am glad you had such a good time!! It was a pleasure to meet you!!

Cavum: Totally awesome to meet you in the flesh! Glad you had such an amazing time and had epic experiences like Nifty Fifties 😀

Cassi: You are adorable with Cavum!! I wished we could have talked more 😀 but you seemed to be having a blast 😀

Soda Rob: Glad you enjoyed my cookies! It was GREAT to finally meet you in the flesh!!! 🙂

Desdemona: Always a pleasure to catch up with you Dr. D! It was fun watching Alchemy tickle you at the play party!! Your corset was as adorable as you are!!

RobAce: Always a pleasure to catch up, even though you seem to just appear 😛 because you are all over the place! All the work you put into NEST is appreciated! You are a total sweetie, a total “burrito boy” 😀

To everyone else who I have forgotten to mention specifically above, you were all a pleasure to meet! I had such a great time this year, WAY more than last year! This NEST was so special to me and I wouldn’t have changed a minute of it!! You are all wonderful people and I am missing you terribly!!!

It was great to see you there putting yourself in the middle of the chaos. I know we didn't have much of a chance to talk but hopefully next year we can actually have some time to hang out.

I'm so glad you had a magnificent experience and thanks for the all the cookies, Lyz's tits looked lovely in them after we had our delicious fill of their tastyness. 🙂

Girl, you ALWAYS had a smile on your face too.😀 Btw? The cookies were DIVINE. Thanks so much for thinking of all of us and baking up a damn storm!

Glad you made it home safe. Can't wait to chat with you more. And more cookies! Those were amazing! Wish I had grabbed more before they got dumped down Lyz's boobs.

Love, I am very touched by what you said. I'm used to having not much to nothing said about me in the post-gathering call-outs, being pretty invisible sitting on the outside of conversations most of the time (an 'orbiter' as Jay puts it). It was great to actually spend some time with you this year. After saying such nice things, at Bella's you won't be able to get rid of me. 😉

I missed cookies??! Noooooo!!!!!!! :cry1:

I'm glad you had fun, doll. We're always happy to
answer your questions, and can't wait to see you
again next year.

Glad you had fun! And your cookies are to die for 🙂 Next time, we must share wine and more stories about travels 😉

You will definitely get first pickings of my cookies next year! Hell, I might even bake a cake or brownies...since I want to drive next year 😀

You were a fantastic 'ler. I about wanted to crawl out of my skin when you were at my feet :pounce:

XoXo,

P :bubbleheart:

Oh, and don't forget the counting game.

That's THREE!

That game was a joke. :lion:

And we're already at 1 for NEST 2012.
And I'll be taking lessons from Shark this time...

Comparing YOUR spanks to Shark's spanks is like comparing a 1991 Ford Taurus with a 2012 Ford Mustang.

Just saying.
:upsidedow

Watch it, my mother drives a 1991 Ford Taurus. You're at 2.

And of course there's no comparison. But I'll ask Shark to teach me, and then there will be one.

So be careful or I'll upgrade to a 2002 Honda Civic.

Yeah right. Settle down you, don't force me to make you safeword again :neenerneener:
