We're pleased to announce that the application process for NEST is now officially open! We've had a few early birds who beat us to the punch. But, that's cool. It gave us more opportunities to be sure our form was working properly. 😀
So, here's the scoop..........
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM THIS YEAR'S NEST?
Obviously, lots of fun hanging with old friends and making new ones will be the norm as always. But, wait! There's more!
Friday evening:
We'll be hanging around the lobby and rooms at the hotel, checking in those early birds who arrive on Friday and having some fun together.
Saturday:
We'll begin with sign-ins and introductions shortly before noon and continue with a day full of activities.
Newbies who are with us will meet half an hour early for the social to give us time to welcome you, answer any final questions you may have and help to introduce you around once the rest of the gang arrives for the social.
Our normal social will also be an opportunity to purchase goodies this year. We'll have a flea market set up with many vendors selling their wares....both TK items and others...all in support of the community. (Anyone interested in being a vendor should contact us via the web site to let us know what you have to sell, how much space you'd need, etc. We'll get back to you to approve or deny the request and work out necessary details.)
After the social/flea market, we'll continue the day with a variety of optional workshops on things like rope bondage, massage and tickling, vintage TK videos, etc.
Saturday evening, we'll be having a pool party at the hotel's indoor pool. So, bring your suits and join the fun. It will be a great chance to relax, unwind and have fun with friends both old and new!
Sunday:
We'll all hook up at the hotel for breakfast and to arrange rides to the club for those who need them.
The main event will be at an area club on Sunday afternoon. We'll have a variety of food & goodies to eat throughout the day, videos running, demos being held, and plenty of fun for everyone.
Many of us have also gotten into the habit of finding a place to have dinner together after the main event is over. So, if you're able, be sure to stick around and join us!
Of course, Philadelphia is also a great place to wander and see historic sites and do some shopping. So, you'll be free to spend time doing that as well if you wish.
While this is now a weekend-long event, you are free to come and go as you wish. The choice is yours. The fee will be the same no matter how much you join us for. So, why not try to spend as much time with us as possible? You'll have a great time!
The full details of the schedule and locations will be passed on once you complete the application and registration process. This information is to be kept strictly to yourself. Anyone passing along this information will be uninvited with no claim to refunds.
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
We have a new system for things this year because of the additional activities. So, we're asking EVERYONE to fill out the application and registration forms ...even those who already know they're clear to attend. This will allow us to be sure we have all of your information up-to-date in our files. This is for your safety in the event that you should fall ill or something and are unable to speak for yourself. It will also give us your preferneces of things to attend.
All potential attendees must be cleared to attend. Why do you need to be approved to attend? Isn't this just a party? Well, yes and no. Yes. It IS a party. But, it is a PRIVATE party. NEST gatherings, like all gatherings are private parties hosted by private individuals. The fact that's it's large and advertised online doesn't change that. Just like you would want to know who is coming into your own home, we want to know who is coming into our space. This will help us to ensure the safest, most comfortable and most enjoyable experience possible for you and all of our guests.
To apply, simply go to the NEST Web Site and follow the registration links. There's a bit more information there as well. You'll be asked to complete and submit an application form, in which you'll need to agree to all of the rules we have set in place. So, please be sure to look them over first. Once we receive your application, we'll get back to you as quickly as possible.
If you are cleared to attend, we'll send you the necessary information for the final registration and payment process. During final registration, you will be asked to indicate your preferences for the workshops so that we may plan the appropriate space in which to hold them.
(NOTE: Those attending as couples are asked to complete the forms and make payments jointly.)
Once that is finished and we've confirmed payment, we'll send you the remaining information you'll need regarding hotels, transportation, etc. The actual club information will be sent out just prior to the gathering itself.
