Everytime I try to write one of these, I get a bit overwhelmed by the task, but if any gathering deserves a tribute, it was definitely this one.
This year's NEST was a rollercoaster of epic proportions. As most people know, I had a few problems with an anxiety attack on Saturday and some really bad news from home on Sunday, but even in my considerably distressed state, you guys made the weekend amazing.
I owe a great deal of thanks to all of you, first and foremost. I can't find the words to express how much the concern and understanding all of you showed to me this weekend meant to me. I don't know what I would do without you. You are like family to me, and I don't say that lightly. I love you all.

Tortuga and Darkhand - Car buddies! 😀 You two are amazing. Cassi, I don't know what I'd do without you. You talked me through some really difficult stuff, even while you had your own stuff to deal with. I can't possibly thank you enough (and for driving me to philly in the first place, haha.) Sean, you are fucking awesome. I'm sad we don't get to hang out more often.
KrazieDog - Jay, you are awesome beyond words. Nifty Fifties was awesome, and so was Big Black Birthday number 12! XD
Fireguardian - You are really wonderful, Christina. Thank you for listening to my breakdown on Sunday, I know I was a mess. And thank you for forcing me to get food with you and Morgan. XD Your friend was really cool, tell her I say hello! 🙂
CapnMad - We didn't hang out too much, but it was awesome seeing you, man. Dinner on Thursday night rocked! You are a very cool dude.

Slacker - There are no words, man. You are fucking awesome. Chilling out on the bench talking to you the last night was awesome.
Subtle Feather - It was good to see you again, man. I'm sorry we didn't get to talk as much, but it was cool chilling with you guys outside on Friday night, haha.
Kelby and Meg You are both fantastic. We only saw each other briefly a couple of times, but you guys always leave an impression. 🙂
Impaler - Dude, I can't thank you enough for letting me crash in your room Thursday night. It means a lot. And don't worry about the jacket, it didn't stain. 😛
Amnesiac - Ted, you rock. Your Kirk bit at the newbie meeting was AMAZING.
Libertine - I hope I'm half as awesome as you someday.
FilthyWeasel - My scottish counterpart! It was great to see you, mate. We don't talk much online, but you're a ridiculously cool dude and a fantastic friend.
Falcon - It was excellent seeing you again, man. You're always there to listen and lend support, it really means a lot.

Zach and Euphoricy - Thank you for talking me down outside of the restaurant, and convincing me to go to the pet store. It calmed down my anxiety a lot. Dinner was tons of fun too. 🙂
