Greetings, fellow NESTees!
I'm sure you probably haven't noticed (nobody ever talks about it), but as it turns out, NEST is kinda sorta two days away. And what better way to kick off the big shebang than by getting to know your fellow NESTers... and thrashing them at some gaming?
*ahem* Don't mind the competitive streak there. 😉
After check-in (which is from 5 to 8 PM), NEST will officially kick off, and we'll have something for everyone at the opening ceremonies! Food will be provided, with pizza, sandwiches, drinks, and dessert. In addition, we'll have music provided live by our own TMF DJs, RobAce and T9's, with a helpful assist from anyone who wants to make some requests. This means you!
In grand NEST tradition, you'll be able to challenge your fellow NESTicles to precisely a slew (we know, we counted) of games, including perennial crowd-pleasers Catchphrase, Apples to Apples, Monster Twister, and more - feel free to bring your own, if you've got any personal favourites!
For those who are ready to step it up to the next level, you'll have a chance to compete in an epic series of quests in search of the Ultimate Lee, as described in the Feather Fantasy post linked here: http://www.ticklingforum.com/showthread.php?t=177055
But most important of all, you will be provided with an opportunity to meet, befriend, and interact with over a hundred of your soon-to-be closest friends. You already know you've got one thing in common; this is your chance to see how much more you do. Every year, NEST forges friendships that last a lifetime. It's a process that will go on all weekend....
