NEST2008 Update

We're now at over 80 attendees, and getting close to last year's
record attendance level.

A couple of reminders:

There is a cut-off for single men which is March 16th.
If you are a single male, and want to attend NEST, we
suggest that you find a female to be your other
couple-half, at least for registration.

Registrations are open until April 1st.

Hotel registration information will be sent out next
week by email, and our Hotel Coordinator will be contacting
you to verify your room needs - please be on the look out for that important email!

We have decided to offer the NEST2008 pins for sale at NEST,
but NOT the t-shirts. If you want a t-shirt, let us know by
sending an email to [email protected].

We've got some AMAZING raffle prizes this year, so make sure
that you take a chance or two on those!

We're offering a commemorative program booklet this year; If you'd
like to advertise your video production business, artwork, prose, furniture
or toy business, place a word ad (Challenging someone to a
tickle fight, letting everyone know where you aren't ticklish, etc)
or an announcement, drop us a line!

We're going to be offering some special bonuses for folks who
register and take us over last year's number of guests, as well,
so if you haven't yet registered, now's a great time to do that!

What's NEST?

NEST is North East Society of Ticklephiles. It is the largest annual gathering of the tk community.

It takes place in/around the Philadelphia area, usually in the Spring. I've been going for two years now (this will be my third) and it's WAY too much fun. 🙂

Well, the last two NESTs I attended, there were about 120 registered and about 80 - 90 showing up from as far away as England and Austria. One guy is coming in from Portugal this year too. There are also smaller, but still sizeable, gatherings going on all year long.

In fact, if you're in Louisiana, there's going to be a gathering in Atlanta GA (not TOO far off I suppose) the weekend of July 24 - 26. If you go to the TMF (www.ticklingforum.com) and look up SAT in the General Gatherings section, there should be more info. 🙂

That's a fact. There was something once that said 85% of people enjoy tickling in some form or another. Even if that's not entirely true (99% of all stats are made up on the spot), there's still a lot of people with our quirk.
