Dear Artists,
Would you like to see your work in print? Are you an
active (or unknown) artist with a desire to share
your talent? NEST is currently seeking applications for
artwork and stories for its 2009 program booklet.
We accept black and white artwork, cartoons, strips,
drawings, etc for the inside, and are looking for one
full color drawing for the front cover. Last year's
booklet featured Umojar amazing cover, with AnnoXanti
and Snail Shell's detailed and fabulous work inside.
This years booklet cover size is 5.5"wx8.25"h, and inside
drawings should be 5.5"x4.125", 4.125"x2.75" or 2.75"x5.5".
We'll accept any genre, although we try to match drawings
up to stories, so if you draw a f/f image, we'll try to match
that to a story with corresponding characters. Please do not
let that limit your imagination, however - this is a place for
you to shine!
There is no compensation for this other than the ability to
receive a copy of the booklet for your own collection, and
bragging rights.
If you're interested, please drop us a PM with a link to
some of your current work, with a brief idea outline. We'll be
choosing 1 cover piece and approx. 5 inside drawings to
showcase in the booklet.
