Basically, if this Orphan Works bill passes, you will lose the right to copyright anything you make and will be unable to gain money from your own creations.

It would never have surprised me if our bought-and-paid-for congress had in fact decided to legally, explicitly turn artists into serfs for major corporations, something which is now done through lawyerly chicanery.
