New Chatroom is confusing... for me..

I could enter it ok. But when I tried to type an entry, there was no enter key or device. Just curious, the old room seem to work just fine. Why the switch?

The switch was due to lots of trolls and nastiness that was growing. Too many people, with too much time on their hands, would log in - say something nasty - log out and then log in under another name.

We actually made a game out of it called TC - Troll Check. Too bad you weren't in the room when I was on Friday. It was hysterical!

This new set up allows for better monitoring of who is in the room and enables the mods to track offenders who cross the line.

The new room does have a few quirks in it but they are diligently working on resolving the issues. I went in last night for the first time and also was a bit challenged when navigating around but eventually I got the hang of it. I'm just very thankful to be able to enjoy the chatroom last night without the hostilities and without all the phoney names popping in and out.

Thanks QB, I don't feel so bad now. Although I would like it even more if I could get in... lol. I suppose every new venture requires some time. I was just frustrated because of being unable to enter. My apologies to the Forum. Seems like a good cause. Now, let me in!! 😉 Thanks.

Blackrook....May I ask what operating system and browser you're using? That could be a part of the problem. Some look like they're working better than others with the new room. The more info. you can give us on the problem, the easier it will be to identify the problem and find a solution so you can get in. I know it's frustrating. But, it really is worth the wait. 😉

Windows 95 and Netscape but...
