Of the four remaining teams in the Super Bowl hunt, New England was the one team which nobody on this forum gave a chance. They are now the first to find a spot in the Super Bowl. Certainly, it was a year of parity in the NFL, so I suppose it stands to reason. No AFC playoff team really entered the playoffs as the dominant team, and all had a shot at a trip to the Super Bowl. New England and Pittsburgh earned a bye and had to play one less game than the others. You really have to tip your hat to Drew Bledsoe, for he played a heck of a game. He had to come in after having not taken a snap in a game since the beginning of the season; he also never complained about being a back-up. When he entered the game he looked like he had played the entire season. The way New England's defense and special teams played, I definitely would not count them out in the Super Bowl.
