New forum problems

Well I've got a small gripe. Ever since vbulltenboards have been updated, it's really fucked up threads with more than 100+ post. In fact they don't load at all because there is just too much data to upload. Mostly it's in the form of a little box above the forum that list every person who has posted in the thread. If anyone knows a way to work around this, please hesitate to say so.

Change your "Display Mode" to "Linear" as opposed to "Hybrid" or "Threaded." This can be done in your User CP under "Edit Options."

I have a problem : TT page sometimes shuts down while browsing it. It only happens with this site. Can someone care to explain what's going on ? Thanx

"Shuts down?" What do you refer to by that? Does your internet browser freeze or close abruptly? Or does the page simply never load?

My browser closes the TT page abruptly as you say, it can happen at any moment. After that i open it without any problem, and it loads perfect. None other pages do this except TT, that's why i find it strange :/

That is unusual. What browser do you use, alf? Have you tried accessing the TickleTheater using an alternative browser? For instance, if you use Internet Explorer 6 or 7 then Mozilla Firefox or Opera would be good choices. If you use Firefox, Opera or IE would work, and so on.

I use Mozilla, and the browser shuted down few minutes ago ... again :/

is my computer cursed ?

Alf, corrupt cached files can cause this. Try clearing your browser cache, then close and restart Mozilla to see if that resolves it.
