I'm dating the girl that I am convinced is the woman of my dreams. I've wanted this girl since our freshman year of high school and we finally got together about 10 months ago (we're now 22).

Now, I'm the most ticklish guy on the planet - I'm convinced. This has never been a problem in the past. Most girls I've dated think it's "cute" and I've loved it when they use my weakness against me 😀

However, my current girlfriend says that it really turns her off when I laugh and she's getting in the mood. But I can't help it! I love her to death, but is there anything you can tell me to help me out here? She knows I can't help it, but it still frustrates her when she's rubbing my tummy and I can't control it.

Well, aside from chopping her hands off, the only thing I can say is maybe you need to rethink your relationship. I mean, since you're posying here, you must be a tickle freak like the rest of us, and as such, do you really want to spend your time with a girl who doesn't at least accept your interests?

yeah but this isn't something to 'rethink' anything over. i love this woman more than anything. she has a preference and i have a preference - we have loads in common outside of that. i'm just hoping there's a middleground that i haven't thought of.

Have you talked with her about your tickling interest? Perhaps if you help her to understand "your preferences" maybe she will be willing to meet you on the middle ground. If she feels the same way about you that you do about her then she should be willing to accomodate you in some way. After all, it seems that you would be willing to do the same for her, right?

What you need to do and twinkle and dardan have touched upon it, is to express to her how strong tickling affects you. If being tickled is also a turn on sexually for you, allow her to see that side of it and then she can use it to her advantage as opposed to her thinking it is an obsticle. Have her hold you down or maybe even tie you down and tickle you for an extended period of time and experience for herself how intense of an experience it can be and is for both you and her!

I am also an extremely ticklish guy and I also cannot help laughing from light intimate touches. My wife says she had a hard time getting used to my laughter but now she is cool with it and enjoys tickling me as much as I enjoy being tickled. So there is hope.

On the other hand, relationships are matter of give and take. Teach her where and how to touch you without tickling so that the two of you can have the quiet intimate monents she wants as well as the ticklish ones you want. Good luck.

I agree with the observations that have already been made. I think that discussing it openly and letting her know is a biggie, since she obviously already knows that you're ticklish. If you incorporate it gently into sexual play, it may help her to become comfortable and enjoy it herself. Whatever you do good luck!
