While testing the stocks for NEST, I had a chance to try out a new tickling tool I picked up recently, and it worked well enough that I wanted to mention it here.
It's called a bone folder -- because it's made out of bone, not because it folds bone. Imagine an oversized tongue depressor, thick in the middle and sharp at the edges, but not sharp enough to cut. One end is rounded, the other comes to a blunt point. You can see a picture at http://shop.store.yahoo.com/scrapbook-dot-com/6bonefolder.html.
It's normally used to score paper or card so they fold cleanly, but the point is great for "drawing" on feet with, and the edge can be used to scrape along the sole -- it's not sharp enough to be painful, but the ticklee will definitely feel it.
I'm adding mine to my regular toy bag, and I hope other folks do well with it too.
