I have seen a lot of references to AMT. Can anybody help me out with this abbreviation?. Any other tickle related abbreviations I should know? Thanks for the help

AMT stands for alt.multimedia.tk. It is a newsgroup that has had many problems with its users. There was more fighting going on than discussion about tickling. I found this newsgroup on Outlook Express. I don't know where your main e-mail is,but it was under the heading "newsgroups in mine.
I dont' recommend it. As thefeatheroom95 said, there is way too much bickering. Many people there are not huge fans of the TMF because we're moderated, but -- trust me -- we get many many more productive and useful threads posted.

alt.multimedia.tk is without a doubt the coolest tickling spot on the internet. It's part of Usenet, which means there are a variety of ways to access it. You might start with Google. Click on this link:

Now, this really isn't the best method to interface with AMT because Google doesn't carry any of the binary attachments like pictures and video clips. But you'll see all the discussion. The cool thing is that it is totally uncensored, and people feel free to give their opinions, good or bad. Yes, there's bickering and fighting, but it's easy to ignore if you're not amused by it. I find it quite entertaining, myself. 🙂
However, sooner or later you're going to want to see the pictures and video clips. If you're interested, I can show you how to configure Outlook Express to interface with your ISP's Usenet service. Then you'll see all the cool multimedia. Let me know.

I don't want to be seen as taking sides here, but I personally avoid AMT like a plague of locusts for the aforementioned reasons.
Rather than get into a debate about the virtues and vices of another group, I simply suggest that you follow the links kindly provided and judge for yourself. You may very well like AMT. You may not. The choice is ulimatley yours to make.
Personally, I think that the TMF is much more user-friendly and people-oriented, but that's just my take.

AMT is a place where a lot of people found a way to talk about their fetish for the first time (me included). It is also a place where you can easily post and get binaries (you do not need a web location for the file).
The only problem with the newsgroup is that lately ISPs have dropped support for binaries, so you can only get the discussions. With frequent fights among their members, sometimes it is not very appealing to check the posts.
Anyway, it is a good alternative to the TMF if you are looking for a different source of information and possible images/video clips. And the boring posts are easy to avoid... 🙂

Ahh AMT. It is a nice place to visit on occaision but don't get too close to the "Flames", you will surely get burned. Sometimes even by friendly fire! 😛 😉
