First of all, I want to thank everyone for their kind greetings and advice on my first thread http://www.ticklingforum.com/showthread.php?t=127041

I talked to my boyfriend about it more, and he admitted he finds my desire to be tickled hot (yay!), but given that he doesn't have much experience with kinks, finds the process very daunting and worries that he's not tickling me right.

So, I thought to help give him a nudge in the right direction, I'd buy some tools to help him get comfortable with the idea. I love the thought of being tickled with an electric toothbrush, seems like it would be maddening. However, I had a few questions:

1. As a lee, I much prefer upper body tickling. I've never used an electric toothbrush, even for, you know, their original purpose (😉), so I'm not sure how hard they spin. I've also never seen them used anywhere other then feet in videos, and the soles of feet seem tougher then underarms/breasts/ribs/etc... Are toothbrushes too harsh to use on the upper body? Can it irritate the skin and bruise? I don't want to be anticipating otherworldly tickling and come away with sore nipples.

2. Any suggestions on what brand/type to purchase? Since this is really only experimentation I don't want to be spending tons of money, but obviously I want it to work too.

Thanks guys

First of all, I don't know where I was when you posted for the first time, but welcome aboard!

Electric toothbrushes are a wonderful tool, but you're right in being concerned. From what I've found, it's not the bristles that are troublesome, but the force by which they're applied. Basically, if your boyfriend is gentle, the effect should be pretty good. Feet is the best spot, in my opinion, for the ET, but I've used it elsewhere for great results.

In terms of brand, ideally, you're going for the Sonicare. Expensive, but supposedly worth every penny. I got a no-name brand one at CVS, and have had no complaints so far.

Well, you might want to make sure you keep track of the removable heads. Maybe one complaint.

Best of luck!

I could lose my foot tickling license by helping these ub's

you might want to also try the backside( rounded plastic side) of the toothbrush also. This will give a different feel. You can buy the non-Sonicare brands and will save some money. The store brands or Braun or Crest will not give as much action as a Sonicare, but may do just as well for you. Ya'll can also try a regular threaputic massager(corded) with the varios attachments. Paint brushes, make-up brushes, feathers of various stiffness( from Michael's, Hobby Lobby or similar craft stores) medium ball point pens, and scalp or shampoo brushes and hair brushes too will work. Building your tool box together means never looking at a craft or hardware store in quite the same way again. :0 Just take a little time to test each one first so you can get the correct pressure. You already have the two absolute most important pieces of equipment...each other. Enjoy!!!
