NO CLIP: Help from Yahoo! Group Owners

I need some help, guys.

I keep getting people writing to me saying they keep getting weird error messages regarding my Yahoo! Group and they won't download, but they claim it's not bandwidth. I think it's a "You are not authorized to view this page" type error, which I've seen before on other groups. Does anyone know the cause behind this and how to fix it? I really want people to see these clips.

Has anyone ever been able to download clips from my group? If so, let me know so I can figure out what the problem is. I really appreciate your help.

Lets see, probably because Yahoo REALLY SUCKS!!! It often forgets me and won't let me connect to my groups, sometimes the group doesn't exist, many times it won't download, and most often useful information is blocked by a huge obnoxious ad.

Sorry, I don't have an answer to your question but wanted you to know that you're definately not alone.

As a group owner, I can tell you: It's usually the bandwidth problem if visitors can see the photos but not the clips. Howeber, Yahoo sends all sorts of misleading error messages in those cases, the "not authorized" being their favorite one... 🙄

I don't know the exact bandwidth allowance per day, but it's only 10 or 20 MB. Yahoo sucks, their customer service sucks even more, but so far I haven't found any cost-free alternative. Yahoo even deleted one of my tickling groups for no apparent reasons and no advance notice, and threw me (the owner!) out of several of my own groups, probably because I wasn't using any yahoo mail addy, just hotmail!

I was able to download the Monkeys Go Home clip a few hours ago I tried earlier and got that message I do believe that is their way of saying the bandwidth was exceeded
