I thought id post about a much better, easier and faster way to upload and download large clips other than that HORRID pain in the ass rapidshare bullshit.

I think others have mentioned it before and no one payed any attention but i'll post a full thread about it so hopefully people will see 🙂

I applaud your effort Dskodj... But i tried yousendit a while back and it didn't really work out as good as you'd might think. You can check out this thread to see the result. Now of course that was about a year and a half or so ago.... it's possible that their policies may have changed since then.

When i've uploaded some vids it says that they'll be keeped for 7 days after over, so when someone will find a storage file site which is free, has no limitations, is easy to understand and keeps files for eternity please give me the link thanx 😉

YouSendIt is good for short time hosting ;
in fact, after 7 days, the link isn't longer available.

If you don't like RapidShare for any reason (maybe because you are behind a proxy), try MegaUpload (maybe less fast than RapidShare) : http://www.megaupload.com/ or for very huge files (larger than 250 MB), let's try FileFactory : http://www.filefactory.com/
If you really don't need your file to be hosted a long time, YouSendIt is still good 🙂

It used to be that small, now it goes up to about 50 or so (has to as I use this thing for something else and at least 50 people have hit it and it didnt die till bout 60 within the past few months).

Basicly when the link dies, if the poster is kind enough to upload another link, then it works great. I figured all of these things were like that..regardless of the limited download useage...still a HELL of alot easier, quicker and less headache than rapidshare.
