No clip! Just a question

I´ve just tried three times to post another Renee clip.
It has about 1,6 MB.
It never downloaded here.
I always got an "error" message.
Please notify me, if clips with more than 1 MB can`t be posted here. So I can spare me the time then.

The limit for file size is 2 MB's so it SHOULD work. However, there are several things that could be wrong. One, is that the file is corrupted. This might cause it to not be posted. THe only other thing I can think of is that the server is possesed and doesn't like you so it won't let you post. I suggest you email TickleTheater and ask him for specifics.

Hmmm, I'd have to go with #2. Seriously though, I don't know why it uploads some but not others, so save yourself the e-mail. 😛

If tried an other clip (1,9 MB).
It didn`t upload either. Got a "database error" message again.
I think You`re right. The server must be prepossesed.
Germans aren`t very popular these days, are they?
Perhaps I`ll have to wait half a century and then try it again.
(If I`m still living then, that is. I would be 90 years old then.)

Longstreet: Tried to uploadt the clip you sent me and got the same message. I suspect it is becaust the file is bigger than it originally seems. You see, a file may say it is 1.6 MB's, but in actuality, it takes up over 2MB's. I noticed this because the email you sent me was "2.495MB's, over the limit of 2. That's why it, and probably any other that you failed to post didn't work.

thank You for trying to upload my clip.
Maybe Your suspicion is right; maybe it`s not.
I`ve just tried to upload a clip with 1,018 MB (at least it said so).
I`ve got the same message again. Can it really be that clips are actually nearly twice the size they say? I simply don`t know.
I think I´d better refrain from posting clips.
It is frustrating to search my harddrive for clips worth sharing and seemingly of the right size and the only success is "DATABASE ERROR".

If you can't upload clips to the forum, don't despair.

Just set up a 'Yahoo Group' and post your files there.
It's not as practical with the bandwidth limits and all but it works.

You're allowed 20MB of space, and the maximum size for any one file is 5MB.
