If anyone here has ever thought of messing with that "supposid" 2 day trial at www.fetishhotel.com for $2.95...DO NOT DO IT!!! I did it and they are a bunch of FRAUDS!!! They took it apon themselves to go and STEAL a payment of $39.95 out of my checking account and billed me for an entire months membership outta the clear blue of nowhere. This overdrew my checking account and I had to report fraud to my bank and put a stop payment on it. Thus...there is no way to contact anyone over at that site neither..strange huh? I more than likley will be having legal action involved if it happens again..but this is a friendly warning to all of you to STAY AWAY from that fraud of a site. Not to mention...its all false advertising..once you get into the site all it is is a bunch of links to basic porn sites and your slued with shitloads of those porn pop ups that come at ya at 100 MPH if ya know what I mean. Then the little bit these "links" do offer is nothing more than basic porn clips of the common. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for the alert! I hope that all of us who have run into or been entrapped by a less-than-honest web site vendor will offer similar alerts.

I, too, was 'lured' into a foot/tickling site (videos, as well) that offered monthly and yearly plans (over $100.00 in cost). I signed up for a year in order to get some of the additional 'goodies' offered by the site. Due to possible litigation, I am advised not to release the name of the

After six months' worth of clicking onto it each day, the site offered very little new materials and I decided to cancel my subsequent year membership. Upon doing so, a message appeared on screen advising me that the FL-based company's policy was not to issue any written cancellation confirmation--just 'trust' that it was done.

I was skeptical, but after trying to enter the site about a week later, my password was refused. I took this as conformation that the cancellation was honored.

Then, when the next anniversary date of the cancelled yearly membership arrived, I got a bill in my credit card statement for another years' worth of fee! I contacted the credit card company, and they were of mimimum help (they just want paid!).

I called a second time, got to someone in the fraud dept at the card company, and forced her to place a call to the website vendor along with me (for third party proof of previous cancellation).

We got the vendor on the phone, and was immediately hostile and defensive--claiming no cancellation was ever made. When I asked why my password would not work if I was still considred a member, his story changed. Somehow, my name and account had been switched into a separate account other than the website, which prompted the new website bill.

He was now trapped in a lie, with the credit card fraud person as witness.

He agreed to cancel the bill, and I asked him to eliminate my name and number from all and any files that his company mainatained.

The credit card company said that any future charges from his company that were based on the alleged recurring membershipo would be billed to me, even if I cancelled the credit card.

Again, credit card companies dont care---they just want paid.

So I wrote and mailed a certified letter to this website guy and his company, CCing the credit card company and my lawyer. I also e-mailed this fellow several times, asking for his confirmation that my name and account # had been erased from all his files.

After several e-mail exchanges, I finally got him to say that my name and # was 'forgotten. That e-mail trail and his response were saved in case I need it again.

The card company confirmed a full credit and urged me to renew my card with them.

I will not renew the card, and I will keep all e and snailmail correspondance from both the credit card company and the website vendor--in uncomfortable anticipation that this bill will recur in 2004!

It was slightly less than a nightmare
for me. Dont let it happenm to you. BE SURE THAT THE WEBSITE VENDOR WILL PROVIDE WRITTEN CONFORMATION OF CANCELLATION BEFORE YOU SIGN ON AS A MEMBER/CUSTOMER.

Too bad there are theives even in our world of harmless and FUN Tickling interests!

Why paying for crap clips dskodj?

Here's you unconditional friend the_rocking that gives his best eforts in providing good tickling clips, the only think you have to do is to watch my annoying post claiming for magic cards (threads that are less effective) but I'm still standing here.

Just wait for updates, I spend considerable time in finding good clips from here, some there, ANYWARE!

That's why this community is worth.
Just spend money in sites that are 100% trustabe, like tickling.ws, ticklinparadise, extremetickling, just to mention some.

LOL, well I was just intrested to see what this site had to offer and giving a "no obligation" 2.95 preview for 2 days I figured if its crap I cant go wrong. So looks like you had quite a hell of a time with that one deal you had huh. Damn, sounds like im gonna have a loooooooooooong road ahead of me here with these fraud artists. Can't even contact them at all is the messed up thing..theres absolutly no way to contact them, only the Jetbill.com company who has nothing to do with the fraud of fetish hotel. They just do the billing. This is gonna be a rough one if its anything like what happened to you:sowrong:

Im always enjoying your clips though on your site, keep up the good work and I do have some clips that I know no one (or not many) has. Let me know if theres a way to get them to you and i'll try to send em one by one email when I have some time 🙂

That's why I always go Mail Order. For only slighty more of a hassle, (get the mail order, send the mail order, etc.) there's no way to be billed for extra and there's also a higher degree of privacy.

I'm paranoid; what can I say that the microbots won't pick up and report back?

Caveat Emptor

After reading these posts, and knowing how many scamsters there are out there, I thought I'd pass along some really valuable, albeit common-sensical advice.

1. Before accepting the terms of ANY online service at face value, ALWAYS confirm that there is either a customer service department, or at least, someone with whom you can speak, to verify those terms BEFORE you lay down your hard-earned money.

2. Look for, and request a cancellation policy, or pro-rated refund policy. If its okay for an online company to "guarantee" that there will be new material updates at specific intervals (i.e; monthly, quarterly, etc.) then it is certainly within your right to request a pro-rated money back guarantee policy in the event they do not fulfill their end of the bargain. In other words, if they promise in their ad copy that "We update our site monthly with the hottest...blah blah blah," and you're subscribing to a yearly membership, then you're going to want to know what happens in the event they do not update accordingly.

3. Do yourself the greatest favor of all - before you subscribe to an online company, seek advice from the hundreds of people right here on the forum who may have had experience already with the company. References from active members is probably your greatest resource.

Bottom line: if you can't get answers from the company BEFORE you subscribe, you're probably better off not subscribing at all.

Well I am new to all this site subscribing as i've only used my checking accont online with buying music. Thanx for the tips and from now on if I do see something I wanna check out from someone I dont know who they are, I will check here with you guys first and see if you know anything about it 🙂 Also, I did find while hunting desperatly a way to contact them through the jetbill.com deal. I got an email back from them in responce to my very pissed off (and semi volgar LOL) email I sent them and they gave me a conformation that the membership had been cancled !! I think as soon as I mentioned authorities that they relised I aint fuckin around hahaha. Again thanx for all your suggestions and help on this 😀

It's unfortunate, but ...

Hi dskodj,

That Web site you mentioned happens to be operated by one of the most respected adult site operators in the business. And I know the man who founded the billing company you referred to as well. It's clean as a whistle.

Ironically, you happen to live in the same state where that adult site operator is located.

In any event, it's highly unlikely that what happened to you was intentional. HIGHLY unlikely.

Coincentally, you should note the following:

"On October 26, 2000, the Federal Trade Commission filed a case in the United States District Court for Arizona against RJB Telcom, Robert J. Botto, Jr., and Richard J. Botto (collectively, "defendants"), alleging that they have committed unfair and deceptive acts in the marketing of their adult entertainment business. Defendants have denied these allegations."

They were subsequently cleared of all charges because they were of course innocent.

In any event, I've done business with RJB Telcom for a number of years now and have found them to be an honorable company. You probably didn't cancel your account properly. Keep in mind, "After you successfully cancel your membership, you will receive a confirmation email at the email address you originally entered on the sign up form."

In the future, feel free to contact a Web site's toll free number to ask questions BEFORE you purchase a membership.

Good luck and have fun,
Bill

All in all, I'd say these were pretty inexpensive lessons. A tremendous portion of "offers" on the net are basically "deceptive" one way or another (or the real story is buried in the 'agreement').

I have learned the hard way that if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Don't let fancy wording or overly optimistic friends convince you otherwise (use your head!).

If no one responded to pop-up ads and spam, they would surely go away (instead they've gotten much worse).

In any case, the opportunity to lose more money increases as you get older and have more to lose...

Yup, I'll never join a porn site if I have to give them access to my checking account or credit card, for the reasons cited by dskodj and ciabatta.
And since there's not too many other ways to join, I guess I just won't be joining.
There's lots of free stuff out there anyway.

I get the feeling some of these sites are run out of a spare bedroom or an unused corner of the garage. Their last concern is customer service.

The only outfits I allow to have direct access to my checking account are Directv and the phone company.

Oh, and of course anyone who wants to dump money INTO my checking account also gets direct access.

Internet Fraud, and such

First, to TKPervert (good name):

I suggest you pay your DirecTV bill each month by check. They, too, will charge you for the most ridiculous stuff and then say you agreed to it when you said "yes" on the telephone. Thinking back, you'll realize that when they called, they said, "Hi, is this TK?", and you said, "Yes". Suddenly you've got the Chinese Handpuppet Channel for 10.95 a month.

Second, to Everyone Else:

I, too, have been bitten many, many times from not only the internet, but television advertisers, magazine advertisers, etc. etc.

I thought the suggestions above regarding locating customer service numbers and sending money orders were all great ideas. In addition to this, I would like to suggest something to anyone who has gotten into it with a company who screws them over, especially one of those who you can never seem to get hold of: Call your credit card company immediately and tell them you suspect someone may have gotten hold of your personal credit information and you'd like to cancel and replace your account. What I mean is, get them to give you a new card with a new number. If you have given your personal information to a website, and they screwed you over, chances are very high that they have not simply put your account in their personal filing cabinet and you're clean and clear if you get them to give you a refund. THEY STILL HAVE YOUR INFORMATION!! They can steal it, sell it, use it, anything. Actually, I have changed my credit cards from time to time just IN CASE someone has my information. Some people will tell you that this will affect your credit rating. It certainly doesn't affect it as badly as having thousands of dollars in fraudulent charges would.

Protect yourselves, you guys. I love all of you (I know, I'm getting corny, but you're all my {secret} family and I care about you), and I don't want any of us hurt by these jackhole internet scam rotten four-flushing sons-of-baskidy bumpases.

I don't like to swear on a website; you can translate that last sentence using your special internet decoder pin available at Wal-Mart and Best Buy.
