No One Ever Responds To My Posts! :(

On this dreadful thing known as the internet the only time someone has responded to me is when they threaten and insult me! Take my shoulder lifting question down below...a reasonable question with a nice link and who knows? Maybe a fetish for someone whod like to give it a try! Anyone respond? Just one fool making fun of me. This 2004 has been the worst,weirdest, most horrible year of my miserable life! I mean the Boston Red Sox won the world series for Christs sake! From and 0-3 deficit to boot! What next? Ya see here on these forums if your name is "Hollywood Brother" and you act like Cowboy Bob Orton or whoever the hell hes supposed to be people will respond and worship you but if youre an intelligent, soft spoken gentleman like myself you get ignored! Happy New Year! WHOOPDEFU**INDOO!

People have responded to you, I see several request threads where you recieved cordial responses. It would simply seem to be that one thread and frankly, I'm not quite sure WHAT the responder was trying to say. You can't expect people to respond all the time: there may simply be no interest in your topic. Even in a community as large and diverse as the TickleTheater, there are not always kindred spirits.

And there is no need to insult other members. By being mean to them, you cause yourself to be no better than those who were mean to you. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. You can't expect others to be nice to you if you are not nice in return.

I don't see how 14 posts is supposed to show someone you are a soft spoken gentleman, and this thread is surely not proving that.

If you want recognition you have to earn it somehow. We all do whether its legitimate or not. Although, to be fair, I can understand where you are coming from with people accepting one form of posting over another when clearly one is more professional and should seem more acceptable. I chalk this up to a younger crowd being here. Those that are past their teens, on any forum and site, can sometimes feel disconnected from the rest because of this reason.

Its happened to me plenty of times where I'll want to honestly talk about an issue without people goofing off, and it doesn't go that way and gets off topic over time. What you have to learn however is that it cannot and will not go your way all the time. As long as you get your point acrossed that should satisfy you, whether anyone responds to your intellectual posts or not.

I'm sure theres plenty of people that appriciate them in silence and when it counts I'm sure some of these people will back you when its appropriate to do so. If I was aware you even existed I may have responded to some of those "soft spoken gentlemanly" posts of yours.

Now that I know you exist perhaps we'll cross paths again in a discussion, debate, or even a casual conversation.

Remember, being soft spoken or professional doesn't mean you always have to be that way. If you want to really belong you have to be able to adapt to the standards of this forum or any other. You need to learn to have two selves, one thats serious and professional and one that knows how to have fun.

If you do not have both you're just going to grow to hate this place.

Let me recap my 2004...I developed tinnitus which is a loud ringing in both ears for no damn reason, I got dumped by my girl on CHRISTMAS FUC**NG DAY!, I got arrested and thrown in county lockup for the abominable crime of telling Page Hopkins of the Fox News Network "you have great legs" (not an exaggeration!), I asked out 3 very askable girls out this summer and got shot down each time, I was lead on a wild goose chase romance with a cheerleader on the Nazi Organization known as AOL! But the worst of it all is THE BOSTON RED SOX WON THE FU**ING WORLD SERIES!!!! Jesus Christ after all that cant someone be nice and tell me about girls sitting on guys shoulders? Ah well theres always USLOVE.COM! I guess you have to pay for people to be nice to you these days! Oh and I aint apologizing for dissing AOL so moderators save your breath anything else im open to debate about.

No worries about AOL: I've been known to make fun of AOL, Norton, and Microsoft quite often myself 😉

Those are all horrible things, and I'm sorry to hear them, but why the need for sarcasm? Do you honestly expect people to want to listen to you if you're going to be this way?

Ya know Dracula I know youre not being disrespectful and I appreciate that but im not being sarcastic, these events really happened and theyre so unbelievable that merely telling of them might come off as saracastic because of theyre incredulousness! Sarcasm was not my intention...2004 just beat the living hell out of me thats all!

Vlad is right. There are many posts on this board that get no responses.
I did check your post about shoulder riding, and lamented on whether to respond to it.
However, I thought it would be cruel to have you log on to this site to check for responses to your thread and see that "dussicar" has responded only to find a post of me saying "sorry, I have no pictures but if I find some"...
You specified that only serious inquiries would do.
But don't worry. When I read that thread, I filed your request away in the back of my mind. I ALWAYS keep an eye out for for special requests made by my extended Tickle Theatre family. I sometimes find it floating around the web, so I promise to save any pictures for you.

As for being ignored. Almost all forums tend to lose the new people in the shuffle. Take vlad's advice and get involved. Once people know you better, the conversation will flow more freely. You have to remember that even though you stand out in your own prospective, you have to realise that there are literally hundreds of posters on this forum. It's hard to keep track of them all.
My advice: Start out with an avatar that is not offered by this forum. People recognise icons better than they do usernames. If you can, find a good sig pic too. A few weird quotes couldn't hurt either.


PS: I don't understand why you thought you'd be made fun of for that shoulder riding fetish. You ARE aware that you're logged on to a site dedicated to people who get their jollies from stroking a part of the human body that is usually described as calloused, corned and smelly, right? 😀

ya, electric, i've been here for years with just 475 posts, and i don't get much recognition, i really don't get responded to that much, but i can live with it. and, i'd say i've had a worse year. i really would love to be as popular as ness, vlad, kalamos, hollywood brother, but i can't. i'm a shy guy in real life, and i'm kinda lazy about posting. when the other popular people do respond/talk to me, it feels great.

but my year was worse, i lost $92,000 from a trust fund by a bundling financial adviser who didn't follow my order and lost it all. not to mention i had $200,000 but it dropped to $92,000 after the stock margket fall after 9/11. and with the situation, i can't sue the financial adviser or whatever, so i got majorly stiffed. and my grandparents dies this summer, a month apart whom where like 2nd parents to me all my life. and i forgot to mention that my girlfriend whom i loved dearly and was the first ever to allow me to tickle her gorgoues feet all the time, left me on valentine's day for a rich guy in her gym, and the day she left, she stole my wallet and the pocket watch, the only thing my father left me when he died when i was 4, which had alot of centimental value. not to mention she took it the anniversary of my father's death, valentine's day, 15 years ago.

what i'm saying is i know what your going through, but don't take it out on the people here. just post alot more, then you will be more recognized.
