So, when it comes to TV, what's with all the freakin' reboots?

We've seen Will & Grace, Rosanne, Murphy Brown, One Day at A Time, Twin Peaks, Full(er) House, Charmed, Hawaii 5-0, and more on the way.

What do you think of this whole concept?

Can't they come up with anything new?

I was a huge Charmed fan, and I admit, I'm curious to see what the reboot will be like, but it would never be like the original.

I think some reboots work but most don't. I like watching Riverdale and there is new Sabrina coming next. It is supposed to be totally opposite from the 'Melissa Joan Hart' Sabrina. It's supposed to be very dark and evil. I think one review said it was a mix between The Exorcist and Rosemary's Baby. Don't know what to make of it yet, but if it follows suit with Riverdale it should be a success.

Some shows can definitely be made better with time, but there's so many shows and movies that don't really need it. I watched the Roseanne reboot a little before it got cancelled and it was just so weird how they try to encapsulate how the show used to be while thrusting new age problems into it. Like Roseanne going from a factory worker who is now an Uber driver. I like the idea of rebooting some concepts but certain shows don't age well. I don't think they'd touch something like All in the family haha
