You'll notice that my location says "Land of the Cheeseheads." Yes, it is a sad day up here in the Frozen Tundra. I have to agree with Dave...the Pack looked like they would have rather been someplace else...like sitting in front of their TVs watching other teams play. Well, they eventually got their wish, since that's exactly what they'll be doing for the rest of the playoffs. 😡
I give the Falcons a ton of credit...they didn't let the "Lambeau mystique" affect them in the slightest. Believe it or not, that kind of talk gets tiresome, even for us Packer fans. My only complaint is the blown call on the punt that hit the Atlanta guy, which, according to NFL rules (and verified by the chief of NFL officiating) should have been blown dead and awarded to the Packers. That was a HUGE play in that game. But I blame Sherman for not challenging it. (And by the way, whatever happened to the rule that says you have to give a punt returner room to field a punt???) In my mond, if a defender is hit on the shoulder by a ball coming down, there's no way he gave the receiver any room.
In any case, Vick is absolutely amazing...I want him for my FF QB next year (either him or Pennington, who I had this year).
Oh well...it's now "wait until next year" (again).
