All summer long in my neighborhood, there are ice cream trucks going up and down the surrounding blocks playing the same jingle on a never-ending loop. It is so irritating. For something that I used to associate positively, ice cream trucks are quickly becoming a huge nuisance to me.

Does anybody have these vile pollutors of noise in their neighborhoods? Do they bother you, or not an issue?
 
One is circling my block as I type, Bald. And their ice cream is crappy too!:disgust:
 
where i live now they dont but in the city where i lived they have them with the same song over and over and over and over
 
They come by here every once in a while, but leave within 15 minutes. If it gets annoying I just close the windows and turn the fan on, mixed with loud music, and all becomes well.
 
I've never seen on in my part of town.But i live far enough away from the street i doubt i would hear it go by anyway.
 
Dammit Bald! Now I'm hungry for some Dairy Queen.

Man,i remember my folks taking us kids to Dairy Queen in the summer.Sitting in the car eating our cones while the bugs buzzed around the florescent lights,then maybe taking a drive around the lake before heading home to catch the late movie on tv.Good times..
 
I just came back from dinner, and that stupid song is still playing. It never ends.

And I'll get Tasti-D-Lite, anyway. Tastes better, less calories.

MMMMM zomg I LOVE DQ!!!!!!!

I don't mind ice cream truck noise at all. In my neighborhood, there are so many little girls!!! And they are always screaming! Not crying, but when they play, they scream all the time! I did that too though, so maybe this is karma biting my ass! 😛
 
Actually, this is the ultimate noise pollution.

I thought noise pollution was Bald speaking in broken french about tickling with toothpaste and eating a human being with a frozen lollipop.
